December Wolves where a band from Boston, Massachusetts that played a very fast and brutal form of black metal mixed in with some death metal and industrial influences on this recording and this is a review of their 2002 album "Blasterpiece Theatre" which was released by Wicked World.
Drums range from slow, mid paced to fast drumming with a great amount of brutal sounding blast beats being thrown into the music, while the samples bring an industrial feeling to the music, as for the bass playing it has a very strong and powerful sound with heavy riffs that dominate throughout the recording.
Rhythm guitars range from slow, mid paced to fast black metal riffs that are very heavy and brutal sounding with a good amount of death metal and industrial influences as well as a good amount of melody being thrown into the riffing, while the lead guitars are very melodic and technical sounding guitar solos and leads.
Vocals a re mostly grim sounding black metal screams mixed in with a great amount of spoken word samples, while the lyrics cover Satanism, Anti Christian, Drugs, Porn and Violent themes, as for the production it has a very strong, powerful, heavy and professional sound where you can hear all of the musical instruments that are present on this recording.
In my opinion this was a great album from December Wolves and if you are a fan of fast, heavy and brutal black metal mixed in with some death metal and industrial, you should c heck out this recording. RECOMMENDED TRACKS INCLUDE "Desperately Seeking Satan" "Porn Again Christian" "Sharing Needles" and "To Kill Without Emotion". RECOMMENDED BUY.
