Everwinter where a band from Pennsylvania that played a very misanthropic form of raw and primitive sounding black metal and this is a review of their 2003 album "Final Victory" which was released by Antinomian.
Drums range from slow, mid paced to fast drumming with a great amount of blast beats being thrown into the music, while the bass playing has a very dark tone with riffs that follow the riffing that is coming out of the guitars, as for the keyboards they are only used briefly with a sound that is mixed down low in the production and they add to the atmosphere of the music.
Rhythm guitars range from slow, mid paced to fast black metal riffs that are very dark, raw and primitive sounding with a great amount of dark sounding melodies being thrown into the riffing and there are no guitar solos or leads present on this recording, as for the acoustic guitars they are only utilized briefly with full chords that add to the darkness that is coming out of the music.
Vocals are all grim sounding and high pitched black metal screams, while the lyrics cover Misanthropic and Anti Christian themes, as for the production it has a very dark, raw and primitive sound to it.
In my opinion Everwinter where a very great sounding misanthropic, raw and primitive black metal band and if you are a f an of this style of music, you should check out this recording. RECOMMENDED TRACKS INCLUDE "More Than Misanthropy" and "Final Victory". RECOMMENDED BUY.
