Zyklon-B where a band from Norway that consists of many well known members of that scene with a musical style that I would be describe as being hateful, raw and primitive sounding black metal and this is a review of their 1995 ep "Blood Must Be Shed" which was released by Malicious Records.
Drums range from slow, mid paced to fast drumming with a good amount of blast beats being thrown into the music, while the bass playing has a very dark tone with riffs that follow the riffing that is coming out of the guitars, as for the synths when they are utilized they bring a very dark and atmospheric sound to the music.
Rhythm guitars range from slow, mid paced to fast 90's Norwegian style black metal riffs that are very raw and primitive sounding, while the lead guitars when they are utilized are very raw and primitive sounding black metal guitar solos and leads.
Vocals are all hateful black metal s creams and growls with some samples being thrown into the music at times, while the lyrics cover violence, mass destruction and war themes, as for the production it has a very dark, raw and primitive sound to it.
In my opinion Zyklon-B where a very great sounding hateful, atmospheric, raw and primitive black metal band and if you are a fan of this musical genre, you should check out this ep. RECOMMENDED TRACK "Warfare". RECOMMENDED BUY.
