This is a review of another recording from A God Or An Other which continues their hybrid sound of primitive black metal, sludge, post rock and experimental with the live ep being self released in 2012 and called "Live@Joonior's Studio".
Drums range from slow, mid paced to fast drumming with a good amount of blast beats being thrown into the music, and there are no use of a bass playing or the other instruments that where utilized on the previous demo.
Rhythm guitars range from slow, mid paced to fast riffs that combine raw and primitive sounding black metal with sludge, post rock and experimental to create a sound of their own with some melody being thrown into the riffing at times and there are no guitar solos or leads present on this recording.
Vocals are mostly high pitched black metal screams along with a brief use of deeper vocals, while the lyrics cover darkness, metaphysical and occult themes, as for the production it has a very dark, raw and primitive sound to it with the songs being recorded live and being long and epic in length.
In mt opinion this is another great sounding recording from A God Or An Other and if you are a fan of experimental black metal, you should check out this ep. RECOMMENDED TRACK "And All The World Is A Great Stained Altar Stone". RECOMMENDED BUY.
