1.Can you give us an update on what has been going on with the band since the recording and release of the new album?
We feel strong and full inspired, so these period we are in the writing process of new material. Our future plan for our next attack is to release a vinyl ep, but nothing is clear or verified yet.
2.When I listened to the album it seemed to cover the darkest elements of both black and death metal, what was it that motivated you into going in this musical direction instead of the standard black metal sound most bands seem to be stuck on?
I don’t have many things to say about this. Our plan was to write a dark and evil Burial Hordes album and everything went out naturally. We let our negative emotions to guide us and “Incendium” is the result.
3.What are some of the topics the band brought lyrical wise with the new release and how would you describe your progress as song writers over the years?
Our philosophy remains the same since the beginning of our course, with totally antireligious and misanthropic messages. In our new album the lyrics are more realistic without many metaphors and symbolisms than in our previous works. We dive in the madness of living where the hope no longer exists.
4.What is the meaning and inspiration behind the name 'Burial Hordes'?
Burial Hordes referred against everything that tries to enslave our soul and mind. They are feeding our inner hate and Burial hordes is the perfect weapon for us.
5.Over the years what are some of the best shows that the band has played, which tours did you enjoy doing the most and also how would you describe your stage performance?
Live shows it’s not our top priority. Over the years we gave some single selected shows and that is our thinking for the future.
6.Do you have any touring or show plans for the new album and 2014?
No such plans. We are not interest in touring and it’s not something that fits in the underground essence of Burial Hordes.
7.On a worldwide level how have extreme metal fans reacted to the musical sound of the new album?
Until now we have some great reviews and in general the reactions are very positive.
8.I know that the band members also have other musical projects going on, do you feel that music takes up a lot of your time and helps motivate you to be more creative?
It’s all about the need of creation and to cover different aspects.
It’s totally respectable and as long as we manage to arrange our “obligations” properly for each band it’s not a problem.
9.Where do you see your musical sound evolving into on future releases?
Honestly we don’t know. Everything is possible to us. We never work on a specific plan and we never will. We are guided only by our negative energy and let our evil emotions to burst. The only sure fact is that day by day our hatred becomes stronger and that is always reflected on our sounds with the most perverse way.
10.What are some bands or musical styles that have had an influence or impact on your musical sound and also what are you listening to nowadays?
We combine many elements from Black-Death metal, but we have the ability, the maturity and the experience to absorb our influences and to present something with personality and with strong identity.
Personally this period I’m listening and I am truly impressed by the latest releases of Beyond, Vorum and Grave Miasma.
11.What are your views on Satanism and Occultism and also what kind of impact do they have on your view points and the way you look at the world?
I will not delve deeply to this subject and I will not start to preach here. Some things must remain concealed. Our view is declared through our albums with the clearest way.
12.Do you have any non musical interests?
I think no one from your readers is interest what the Burial Hordes members do beside music.
13.Before we close this interview, do you have any final words or thoughts?
Thank you for the opportunity to present our evil horde to your readers. Our new album was officially released. One more nail upon the cross of mankind.
Bestial regards.
