This is the final review of a recording from Myrrdin for the time being which shows him continuing and expanding on his dungeon synth music with the demo being self released in 2005 and called "Elements".
A very dark and atmospheric synth starts off the demo bringing in a very raw and ritualistic feeling and just like the previous recording the music is all instrumental and the synths are also the only musical instrument to be heard on all 4 of the tracks with only the first song being long and epic in length.
On some of the tracks medieval folk and pagan music sounds are mixed in with the dungeon synth style of the recording and they also bring in more of a diverse and epic feeling as well as the synths also bringing in a variety of many different sounding keys.
Myrrdin brings in more variety and shows a great amount of progression on this recording with his dungeon synth stuff as well as showing what was to come in the future and the production also keeps the dark, raw and lo-fi sound of previous recordings.
In my opinion this is another great sounding recording from Myrrdin and if you are a fan of dungeon synth, you should check out this demo. RECOMMENDED TRACKS INCLUDE "Paed Uppan Thone Munt" and "The Fool". 8 out of 10.
