Anal Vomit/Peste Negra, Muerte Negra/Gates Of Hell Records/2015 CD Review

  Anal  Vomit  are  a  band  from  Peru  that  plays  a  raw  mixture  of  black,  death  and  thrash  metal  and  this  is  a  review  of  their  2015  album  "Peste  Negra,  Muerte  Negra"  which  will  be  released  in  May.

  A  very  heavy  and  extreme  old  school  metal  sound  starts  off  the  album  along  with  some  chaotic  guitar  leads  and  all  of  the  musical  instruments  having  a  very  powerful  sound  to  them  and  once  grim  screams  are  added  into  the  music  the  songs  start  adding  in  more  of  a  raw  South  American  black/death  metal  sound.

  Throughout  the  recording  there  is  a  great  mixture  of  slow,  mid  paced  and  fast  parts  as  well  as  a  decent  amount  of  blast  beats  and  the  songs  also  bring  in  a  great  amount  of  thrash  influences  and  early  90's  extreme  metal  elements  as  well  as  going  back  to  the  more  evil  and  underground  days  of  black  and  death  metal.

  As  the  album  progresses  you  can  also  hear  clean  playing  being  utilized  in  certain  sections  of  the  recording  while  some  songs  also  bring  in  an  early  bestial  and  war  metal  feeling  as  well  as  adding  growls  in  some  parts  of  the  tracks  and  there  are  also  a  couple  of  intro's  and  outro's  with  one  of  them  bringing  in  spoken  word  samples  while  the  main  focus  remains  on  a  raw  and  old  school  style  of  black/death  metal  and  some  of  the  alter  songs  are  long  and  epic  in  length  and  also  add  a  small  amount  of  melody  onto  the  recording.

  Anal  Vomit  takes  the  most  raw  and  extreme  styles  of  war,  black,  death  and  thrash  metal  and  combine  them  together  to  create  a  very  heavy,  old  school  and  blasphemous  sounding  recording,  the  production  sounds  very  raw  yet  powerful  at  the  same  time  while  the  lyrics  are  written  in  a  mixture  of  Spanish  and  English  and  cover  Death,  Satanism,  Demons  and  Violent  Sex  themes.

  In  my  opinion  Anal  Vomit  are  a  very  great  sounding  raw  and  old  school  mixture  of  black,  death  and  thrash  metal  and  if  you  are  a  fan  of  those  musical  genres,  you  should  check  out  the  band.  RECOMMENDED  TRACKS  INCLUDE  "Obsessive  Sexual  Slaughter"  "Vengenza  Obscura"  and  "A  Savage  Fornication".  8  out  of  10.
