This is a review of a split album between Greece's Diablery and Shadowcraft called 'Entropy" which will be released on June 23 by Black Market Metal Label and we will start off the review with Diablery a band that has been featured before in this zine and plays a keyboard orientated form of black metal.
Their side of the split starts out with a very sci-fi orientated keyboard intro and after the intro the music goes into a very fast and r aw black metal direction along with a great amount of blast beats and tremolo picking as well as a great amount of high pitched screams while the solos and leads are done in a very melodic fashion.
Throughout their side of the recording you can hear a great mixture of slow, mid paced and fast parts while also mixing in elements of 90's era symphonic black metal while the riffs also utilize a great amount of melody and you can also hear all of the musical instruments that are present on their side of the recording and a great portion of t heir tracks are very long and epic in length and acoustic guitars along with melodic chants are added onto the last track
Diablery creates another recording that remains true to the keyboard orientated style of black metal from previous releases, the production sounds very professional while the lyrics cover occultism, philosophy, space, science and nature themes.
In my opinion this is another great sounding recording from Diablery and if you are a fan of keyboard orientated style black metal, you should check out their side of t he split. RECOMMENDED TRACK "Mundus Vult Decipi".

Next up is Shadowcraft a band that plays a symphonic form of black metal.
Their side of the split starts out with a keyboard intro which also utilizes a brief use of operatic female vocals as well as introducing grim black metal screams onto the recording and after the intro the music goes into a heavier direction along with also bringing in melodic guitar leads.
Symphonic and heavy parts are mixed together quite a bit throughout the side of the recording along with a small amount of death metal growls and when the music speeds up a decent amount of blast beats can be heard and the songs also bring in a great mixture of slow, mid paced and fast parts along with all of the musical instruments sounding very powerful and both of their tracks are very long and epic in length and spoken word parts are added onto the closing track.
Shadowcraft plays a style of symphonic black metal that is more close to the 90's style of the genre, the production sounds very professional while the lyrics cover anti Christianity, solitude, torment and darkness themes.
In my opinion Shadowcraft are a very great sounding symphonic black metal band and if you are a fan of this musical genre, you should check out their side of the split. RECOMMENDED TRACK "I Curse Thee".
In conclusion I feel this is a very great sounding split and I would recommend it to all fans of Greek or symphonic black metal. 8 out of 190,
