Anima Damnata are a band from Poland that plays a very brutal and bestial mixture of black and death metal and this is a review of their 2017 album "Nefarious Seed Grows To Bring Forth The Supremacy Of The Beast" which will be released in October as a joint effort between Godz Of War Productions and Malignant Voices.
A very distorted sound starts off the album along with some spoken word parts before going into a very fast and brutal war metal direction which also uses a great amount of blast beats while the solos and leads are also done in a very chaotic style and after awhile growls are added onto the recording.
A great amount of brutal death metal elements can be heard in the bands musical style while black metal screams are also utilized at times along with the riffs also bringing in a small amount of melody as well as bestial growls also being added into certain sections of the recording and the songs also bring in a great mixture of slow, mid paced and fast parts .
Amina Damnata plays a musical style that takes, war, bestial black and brutal death metal and mixes them together to create a sound of t heir own, the production sounds very professional while the lyrics cover Satanism, Luciferian, Anti Christianity, Nihilism and Coprophilia themes.
In my opinion Anima Damnata are a very great sounding brutal and bestial mixture of black and death metal and if you are a fan of those musical genres, you should check out this band. RECOMMENDED TRACKS INCLUDE "The Promethean Blood" "Uprising Lucifer" "I Hail His Name" and "Blend Into Satan". 8 out of 10.
