This is the final review of a recording from Argentina's Alldrig which shoes the music going into more of an ambient style of depressive black metal and the album was released in 2016 on cassette by Depressive illusions and if called "Introspective Existentialism".
Ambient style synths and nature orientated soundscapes start off the album while one of the tracks is very long and epic in length along with the ambient and atmospheric elements being mixed in with the heavier sections of the music as well as the solos and leads being done in a very melodic post metal direction.
When the music speeds up a great amount of blast beats and tremolo picking can be heard which also gives the songs a more raw feeling while the vocals are mostly depressive black metal screams that are mixed down low in the mix and all of the musical instruments have a very powerful sound to them.
On this recording Alldrig take his depressive style of post black metal into more of an ambient direction, the production sounds very dark and raw while the lyrics cover existentialism and depressive themes.
In my opinion this is another great sounding recording from Alldrig and if you are a fan of ambient and depressive post black metal, you should check out t his album. RECOMMENDED TRACKS INCLUDE "Melancholy Germ I" and "Individualism, Aneuryism". 8 out of 10.
