This is a review of another recording from K.F.R which shows the music going for more of an experimental and lo-fi style of occult black metal and the album is called "Par le sang" and was released by Purity Through Fire.
Clean playing starts off the album before going into a very fast, raw and lo-fi direction which also uses a great amount of tremolo picking and blast beats while the vocals are mostly demented yet high pitched and grim sounding black metal screams along with the solos and leads being done in a very chaotic style.
All of the musical instruments on the recording have a very powerful sound to them while the songs also bring in a great mixture of slow, mid paced and fast parts along with some of the riffing also adding in a small amount of dark sounding melodies as well as a great portion of the tracks being very long and epic in length, as the album progresses a brief use of spoken word parts can also be heard and clean playing also makes a return in certain sections of the recording and when synths are utilized they bring in elements of ambient and one of the later tracks is an instrumental.
On this recording K.F.R go for more of a raw and lo-fi experimental occult black metal approach, the production sounds very dark and raw while the lyrics cover Dajjal, Occultism, Religion and Sorrow themes.
In my opinion this is another great sounding recording from K.F.R and if you are a fan of experimental, lo-fi, raw and occult black metal, you should check out this album. RECOMMENDED TRACKS INCLUDE "Rosary Of Flesh And Pain" and "Swallow the Light". 8 out of 10.
