Blood Of Raui'Ahn are a band from Pennsylvania that plays a bestial mixture of war, black and death metal and this is a review of their 2023 ep "Devine Flesh Of Enemy" which was released by Shadow Speculum Productions.
A very dark and heavy sound starts off the ep while melodies can also be heard in some of the guitar riffing. When the music speeds up a great amount of war metal elements and blast b eats can be heard along with the vocals being a mixture of high pitched black metal screams and bestial death metal growls.
All of t he musical instruments on the recording also have a very powerful sound to them while the songs also add in a decent mixture of slow, mid paced and fast parts. When tremolo picking is utilized they also gives the songs more of a raw feeling along with some of the riffing also showing an influence of grindcore and when guitar solos and leads are utilized they also add in more of a 90's style, spoken word parts can also be heard can also b e heard on a couple of songs.
Blood Of Raui'Ahn plays a musical style that takes war, black and death metal and mixes it with elements of grindcore to create a sound of their own. the production sounds very dark and raw while the lyrics cover darkness and death themes.
In my opinion Blood Of Raui'Ahn are a very great sounding bestial mixture of war, black and death metal and if you are a fan of those musical genres, you should check out this band. RECOMMENDED TRACKS INCLUDE "Devine Flesh Of Enemy" and "The Essence That Conquered Men". 8 out of 10.
