This is a review of another recording from Ukraine's duo The Demiurgkh which shows the music going for more of a raw and psychedelic style of satanic black metal and the ep was released in 2022 and by Goatawarex and called "Unholy Ceremony".
Clear vocals start off the ep before going into a heavier musical direction which also introduces grim black metal screams onto the recording. Elements of psychedelic and deathrock can also be heard at times.
All of the riffing is done on power chords which also gives the recording more of a raw atmosphere while all of the songs also stick to either a slow or mid tempo direction and keyboards are added on the closing track.
On this recording The Demiurgkh remains true to the raw and psychedelic style of satanic black metal that they had established on their previous release. The production sounds very dark and raw while the lyrics cover Satanism, Luciferian, Demonology, Devil Worship and Rituals.
In my opinion this is another great sounding recording from The Demiurgkh and if you are a fan of raw and psychedelic satanic black metal, you should check out this ep. RECOMMENDED TRACKS INCLUDE "Lucifer's Blood" and "The Purple Eyes of Satan". 8 out of 10.
