Cultum Interitum/Sacrum Funeral/Godz Ov War Productions/2023 Full Length Review

 

  Cultum  Interitum  are  a  band  from  Poland  and  on  this  recording  plays  a  mixture  of  war,  black  and  death  metal  and  this  is  a  review  of  their  2023  album  "Sacrum  Funeral"  which  will  be  released  on  November  24th  by  Godz  Ov  War  Productions.

  Ritualistic  soundscapes  start  off  the  album  while  demonic  voices  can  also  be  heard  briefly  before  going  into  a  heavier  direction.  Vocals  are  mostly  bestial  death  emtal  growls  along  with  some  dark  sounding  melodies  also  being  added  into  some  of  the  guitar  riffing  and  when  the  music  speeds  up  a  great  amount  of  blast b eats  and  war  metal  elements  can  also  be  heard.

  Throughout  the  recording  you  can  also  hear  a  great  mixture  of  slow,  mid  paced  and  fast  parts  while  the  tremolo  picking  in  the  faster  riffing  also  gives  the  songs  more  of  a  raw  black  metal  feeling.  All  of  the  musical  instruments  on  the  recording  also  have  a  very  powerful  sound  to  them and  some  tracks  also  ad d in  a  small  amount  of  whispered  vocals.

  On  this  recording  Cultum  Interitum  takes  their  music  into  more  of  a  mixture  of  war  and  bestial  black/death  metal  which  is  different  from  their  previous  release.  The  production  sounds  very  dark  and  raw  while  the  lyrics  cover  death,,  annihilation  and  blasphemy  themes.

  In  my  opinion  this  is  another  great  sounding  album  from  Cultum  Interitum  and  if  you  are  a  fan  of  war  and  bestial  black/death  metal,  you  should  check  out  this  recording.  RECOMMENDED  TRACK S INCLUDE  "A"  and  "M".  8  out  of  10.
