Adorior are a band from the United Kingdom that has been featured before in this zine and on this recording goes for an apocalyptic and nihilistic mixture of black and death metal and this is a review of their 2024 album "Blood On My Teeth" which will be released in September as a joint effort between Dark Descent Records and Sepulchral Voice.
The sounds of war start off the album before going into a heavier direction while the riffs also add in a decent amount of melody. Vocals are done in more of an angry black metal style along with the faster sections of the songs also adding in a lot of tremolo picking and blast b eats which also gives the recording more of a r aw feeling.
When guitar solos and leads are utilized they are also done in a very chaotic style while the songs also mix in a lot of 80's and 90's influences in with a more modern approach. Elements of death metal can also be heard quite a bit throughout the recording and the album also adds in a good mixture of slow, mid paced and fast parts.
All of the musical instruments on the recording also have a very powerful sound to them along with some of the tracks also being very long and epic in length. Growls can also be heard at times as well as some of the vocals also having their melodic moments and all of the music sticks to a heavier direction. The production sounds very professional while the lyrics cover darkness, devil worship, violence and nihilism themes.
In my opinion this is another great sounding album from Adorior and if you are a fan of apocalyptic and nihilistic black/death metal, you should check out this recording. RECOMMENDED TRACKS INCLUDE "Begrime Judas" "Sips Of Sarin" and "Bleed on my Teeth". 8/5 out of 10.
