Rotting Bull are a band from the United Kingdom that has been featured before and plays a very raw and crust influenced form of black metal and this is a review of the second part of a 3 part trilogy that is included on their album "Beyond Ragnarok".
A very heavy and raw crustcore sound starts off the first track along with some grim black metal screams a few seconds later and all of the musical instruments have a very powerful sound to them and the music also incorporates a decent amount of melody and d beats and after awhile the music speeds up a bit.
Once the music speeds up blast beats can be hears and the music starts bringing in more of a raw black metal feeling and on the second track the music metal influence starts even having more of a powerful presence in the sound mixing both old school and modern influences with crust and a small amount of growls.
Rotting Bull continue the raw black metal sound of the first chapter in the trilogy while also adding in more melody and crustcore influences this time around which also makes their music sound more original, the production sound s very raw yet heavy at the same time while the lyrics cover violent and hateful themes.
In my opinion this is another great sounding from Rotting Bull and if you are a fan of raw, crust influenced black metal, you should check out this band. RECOMMENDED TRACK "Tooled Up, Drug Addled Teenager". 8 out of 10.
