Necromutilator are a band from Italy that plays a raw mixture of black, death and thrash metal and this is a review of their 2017 ep "Ripping Blasphemy" which will be released in April by Terror From Hell Records.
Horror movie samples start off the ep before going into a very fast, raw and bestial black metal direction that also uses a great amount of blast beats and war metal style screams and growls and you can also hear a great amount of tremolo picking in the guitar riffing as well as a great amount of 90's influences.
Elements of thrash can be heard quite a bit throughout the recording and the songs also bring in a great mixture of slow, mid paced and fast parts while you can also hear all of the musical instruments that are present on the recording along with a decent amount of morbid sounding melodies and there is also a brief use of chaotic guitar solos and leads along with the music always remaining heavy and brutal.
Necromutilator plays a musical style that takes the rawest and heaviest elements of war, black, death and thrash metal and mixes them together to create a sound of their own, the production sounds very raw and heavy while the lyrics cover Evil, Satanism, and Death themes.
In my opinion Necromutilator are a very great sounding mixture of war, black, death and thrash metal and if you are a fan of those musical genres, you should check out this band. RECOMMENDED TRACKS INCLUDE "Exhorted Sacrifice" and "Gate to Eternal Possession". 8 out of 10.
