Sri Lanka's Luciferianometh have returned with a new recording which continues the satanic and occult black metal style of their previous releases and this is a review of their self released 2021 album "The Order Of Satan's Rage".
An Acoustic guitar intro start off the album before going into a heavier direction while some tracks also add in a small amount of clean vocals. Grim black metal screams are also a very huge part of the recording as well as some of the riffing also adding in a small amount of melody and the solos and leads are also done in an old school extreme metal style.
A couple of the tracks are also long and epic in length while the faster sections of the songs also add in a decent amount of blast beats. Throughout the recording you can also hear a decent mixture of slow, mid paced and fast parts along with the music also showing an influence of 90's era death metal at times.
When tremolo picking is utilized it also gives the songs more of a raw feeling along with all of the musical instruments also have a very powerful sound to them. When spoken word parts are utilized they also give the music more of a ritualistic feeling and as the album progresses a brief use of synths can also be heard, the album also closes with an acoustic guitar outro. The production sounds very raw and old school while the lyrics cover Satanism, Occultism, Left Hand Path, Black Magick, Egyptian Magick, Baphomet, Knights templar, Vedic Mythology, Astral Projection and Sinhal Buddhism themes.
In my opinion this is another great sounding recording from Luciferianometh and if you are a fan of satanic and occult black metal, you should check out this album. RECOMMENDED TRACKS INCLUDE "Elemental King Ov Cosmos Knight ov Amenti" "My Ancient Spirit Guide I Ascended Through" and "Majesty Ov Baphomet's throne". 8/7 out of 10.
