1.Can you give us an update on what has been going on with the band since the recording of the new album?
Nothing really happened since then... we are not used to meet and party. Probably we all will gather when there will be a new album coming out..or something related to the band
2.You have a new album coming out towards the end of November, musically how does it differ from the stuff you have released in the past?
This time the album sounds more Death Metal oriented..Necorvore, Morbid Angel, Incantation and Autopsy are clearly audible between the songs. Macabro Bunker recordings captured perfectly the needs of the band.
3.A lot of your lyrics cover Satanism, Occultism and Blasphemy themes, can you tell us a little bit more about your interest in the dark arts?
Sure the lyrics reflects our private interests in life. Satanism is the main force which guide Morbid Sacrifice. Our lyrics are pure insults in the face of god! Hail the darkness!
4.What is the meaning and inspiration behind the name 'Morbid Sacrifice'?
The band MORBID and SACRIFICE.
5.Can you tell us a little bit more about the artwork that is presented on the new album cover?
First i got to tell you that another artwork was ready to be used for the cover.We even spread news with that cover but another band used it just few days before it was sent to print! Luckily our label (GODZ OF WAR) noticed it and proposed us to change, he didn’t forced us. ANyway the painting is the so called PIETA’ released by Titian. A sacral image used to represent evil and satanic music is perfect! We mock all religions!
6.Has the band done any live shows or open to the idea?
As of now, we never performed live, not even we have intention.. but who knows, maybe with tons of money,bitches and alcohol we could change idea..
7.In the last couple of years you also have been a part of a couple of splits, can you tell us a little bit more about the bands you shared these recordings with?
The 4 way split CD came out though Cursed Recordings Prod/Terror From Hell and we shared our music with bands we like and support… NunSlaughter,Sacrilegious Rite(RIP) and Slaughtbbath. A beast of a relerase. In the pasrt we re released our 1st demo on both CD and cassette as a split with VomitMantik. A local band of friends
8.You also have done some 'Bathory' and 'Sodom' covers, what was the decision behind doing your own version of their songs?
They are one of the main influences not only for us but for most of the extreme bands. We simply loved to perform those hyms of real Metal!
9.On a worldwide level how has the reaction been to your music by fans of war, black and death metal?
It seems the album is getteng high scores and good recognition from people int oreal old school metal. We are proud of this shit.
10.Where do you see the band heading into musically during the future?
I don’t know...
11.What are some of the bands or musical styles that have had an influence on your music and also what are you listening to nowadays?
We listen to old metal classics like Ozzy,Maiden,Ripper,SadistikExekution,Sepultura,Sodom,Mayhem.Sarcofago,BoltThrower,Deicide,BestialWarlust,Beherith,Goatlord,Samael,NIfelheim,Antaeus,Hadez,SteelVengeance,Slayer,Omen,CirithUngol,Warlord,Elixir,Venom,Frost/hellHammer…WE FUCKING HATE THE NOWADAYS HIPSTER POST ALTERNATIVE METAL SHIT MADE FOR HIPPIES! FUCK OFF!!!!
