Infernaculum/Cristo 666/Rex Diaboli Death Syndicate/2026 Full Length Review

Infernaculum  are  a  band  from  Spain  that  plays  a  bestial  mixture  of  war,  black, d eath  metal  and  grindcore  and  this  is  a  review  of  their  2026  album  "Cristo  666"  which  was  released  by  Rex  Diaboli  Death  Syndicate.

Harsh  noises  start  off  the  album  along  with  some  bestial  growls  and  black  metal  screams  a  few  seconds  alter  which  also  takes  the  music  into a   heavier  direction.  When  the  music  speeds  up  a  great  amount  of  tremolo  picking,  blast  beats  and  war  emtal  elements  can b e  heard  which  also  gives  the  recording  more  of a  raw  feeling.

Dark  sounding  melodies  are  also  added  into  some  of  the  guitar  riffing  while  the  album  also  brings  in  a  good  mixture  of  slow,  mid  paced  and  fast  parts.  Spoken  word  choir  samples  can  also  be  heard  on  a  couple  of  songs  along  with  the  music  also  adding  in  elements  of  early  90's  gore/grindcore  along  with  a  great  portion  of  the  tracks  also  being  very  short  in  length.

Infernaculium  plays  a  musical  style  that  takes  war,  bestial  black/death  metal  grindcore  and  noise  and  mixes  them  together  to  create  a  sound  of  their  own.  The  production  sounds  very  ra w and  old  school  while  the  lyrics  are  written  in  Spanish  and  cover  Satanism,  Blasphemy,  Perversion  and  Sex  themes.

In  my  opinion  Infernaculum  are  a  very  great  sounding  bestial  mixture  of  war,  black,  death  metal,  grindcore  and  noise  and  if  you  are  a  fan  of  those  musical  genres,  you  should  check  out  this  band.  RECOMMENDED  TRACKS  INCLUDE  "Larvas  Cristianas"  "Decadencia  Obscena"  "La  Total  Muerte  de  la  Fe"  and  "Cristo  666".  8  out  of  10.

Dark  sounding  melodies  are  also  added  into  some  of  the  guitar  riffing  while  the  album  also  adds  in  a  good  mixture  of  slow,  mid  paced  and  fast  parts.  When  guitar  solos  and  leads  are  utilized  they  are  also  done  in  a  very  chaotic  style  along  with  all  of  the  musical  instruments  also  having  a  very  powerful  sound  to  them.

On  this  recording  Blood  Artillery  continue  to  expand  on  the  war  and  bestial  black/death  metal  style  that  he  has  introduced  on  previous  releases.  The  production  sounds  very  dark  and  raw  while  the  lyrics  cover  war,  the  collapse  of  civilization  and  the  rejection  of  humanity.

In  my  opinion  this  is  another  great  sounding  recording  from  Blood  Artillery  and  if  you  are  a  fan  of  war  and  bestial  black/death  metal,  you  should  check  out  this  album.  RECOMMENDED  TRACKS  INCLUDE  "Anti  Human-Militarism"  "Hate  Detonator"  "Burn  The  Crown  of  Creation"  and  "Tactical  Terror".  8  out  of  10.

Morbid Invocation/Opus I/Sect Entropy/2024 Full Length Review

Morbid  Invocation  are  a  duo  from  Germany  that  plays  a  bestial  mixture  of  war,  black  and  death  metal  and  this  is  a  review  of  their  2024  album  "Opus  I"  which  was  released  by  Sect  Entropy.

A  very  dark  and  ritualistic  sounding  intro  starts  off  the  album  along  with  a  brief  use  of  synths  and  chants  before  going  into  a  heavier  direction.  When  the  music  speeds  up  a  great  amount  of  tremolo  picking,  brutal  blast  beats  and  war  metal  elements  can  be  heard  which  also  gives  the  recording  more  of  a  raw  feeling.

Vocals  are  mostly  bestial  growls  while  the  album  also  brings  in  a  good  mixture  of  slow,  mid  paced  and  fast  parts.  All  of  the  musical  instruments  also  have  a  very  powerful  sound  to  them  along  with  all  of  the  riffing  being  done  on  power  chords  and  the  music  also  avoids  the  use  of  any  melodies,  solos  or  leads.

Morbid  Invocation  plays  a  musical  style  that  takes  war  and  bestial  black/death  metal  and  mixes  them  together  to  create  a  very  brutal  release.  The  production  sounds  very  dark  and  raw  while  the  lyrics  cover  occultism  and  darkness  themes.

In  my  opinion  Morbid  Invocation  are  a  very  great  sounding  bestial  mixture  of  war,  black  and  death  metal  and  if  you  are  a  fan  of  those  musical  genres,  you  should  check  out  this  duo.  RECOMMENDED  TRACKS  INCLUDE  "II"  V"  and  "VII".  8  out  of  10.

Dark  sounding  melodies  are  also  added  into  some  of  the  guitar  riffing  along  with  a  great  portion  of  the  tracks  also  being  very  short  in  length  and  one  of  the  songs  also  add  in  a  good  mixture  of  slow,  mid  paced  and  fast  parts,  voodoo  style  chants  and  percussion  are  also  added  towards  the  end.  The  production  sounds  very  dark  and  raw  while  the  lyrics  are  written  in  Spanish  cover  death,  surrealism  and  esotericism  themes.
