Movimento D' Avantguardia Emetico are a band from Italy that plays a very complex form of black metal and this is a review of their 3025 album "Torri Del Silenzio" which will be released in September by Avantgarde Music.
A very distorted yet modern black metal sound starts off the album and a few seconds later spoken word parts which are also used quite a bit throughout the recording are added onto the recording and on the second track the music speeds up a bit and also adds in more of a raw style along with some blast beats and grim screams while a decent amount of melodies are still utilized.
Throughout the recording there is a great mixture of slow, mid paced and fast parts while the solos and leads are in more of an atmospheric and melodic black metal direction and after awhile the music starts incorporating more experimental and ambient elements and most of the tracks are very long and epic in length and all of the musical instruments have a very powerful sound to them and a couple of the later tracks also brings in a brief use of clean playing which also gives the song more of a progressive feeling.
Movimento D' Avantguardia Emetico plays a style of black metal that is very modern, complex and sometimes raw while also managing to be atmospheric and avant garde in more of a grim approach, the production sounds very dark and raw yet powerful at the same time while the lyrics are written in Italian and cover poetic and philosophical themes.
In my opinion Movimento D' Avantguardia Emetico are a very great sounding complex black metal band and if you are fan of this musical genre, you should check out this album. RECOMMENDED TRACKS INCLUDE "La cresta verso Grauhaupt" and "Torri Del Silenzio". 8 out of 10.
