Beastiality are a band from Sweden that plays a very raw and old school mixture of black, death and thrash metal and this is a review of their 2017 album "Worshippers Of Unearthly Perversions" which was released by Invictus Productions.
Horror movie style synths start off the album before going into a heavier and faster direction along with a great amount of blast beats and thrash elements while the solos and lead are done in a very dark and melodic yet old school fashion and the music is very heavily rooted in the 80's and 90's.
Vocals are mostly grim black metal screams while the faster sections of the songs bring in a great amount of tremolo picking and war metal elements along with all of the musical instruments having a very powerful sound to them and the songs also bring in a great mixture of slow, mid paced and fast parts and th e music also mixes in elements of death metal and they also bring in a brief instrumental, melodic chants can also be heard briefly on a couple of the tracks.
Beastiality plays a musical style that takes the rawest elements of black, death and thrash metal to create a very heavy recording that is very heavily rooted in the past but capturing a modern atmosphere, the production sounds very raw and heavy while the lyrics cover Satanism, Death and Morbidity themes.
In my opinion Beastiality are a very great sounding raw and old school mixture of black, death and thrash metal and if you are a fan of those musical genres, you should check out this band. RECOMMENDED TRACKS INCLUDE "Witchblood" "Apocalyptic Storm" and "Shadowside Path". 8/5 out of 10.
