Tetragrammacide are a band from India that has had music reviewed before in this zine and on this recording goes for a mixture of war, black, death metal and grindcore and this is a review of their 2025 ep "Cyber-Tantric Paradigm Of Radical Sri-Vidya" which will be released in September by Iron Bonehead Productions.
Distorted soundscapes, harsh noises and chants start off the ep before going into a very fast, raw and brutal war metal direction which also utilizes a great amount of tremolo picking and blast b eats. Vocals are mostly bestial growls while most of the tracks are also very long and epic in length.
Elements of grindcore are also added into the faster sections of the recording while the songs also add in a good mixture of slow, mid paced and fast parts. All of the musical instruments also have a very powerful sound to them along with some of the riffing also adding in a small amount of melody as well a s the music also adding in a lot of black metal influences.
On this recording Tetragrammicide takes war, black, death metal, grindcore and harsh noise and mixes them together to create a very brutal release. The production sounds very dark and raw while the lyrics cover Tantra, Left Hand Path, Eastern Occultism, Theosophy, Chaos and Apocalyptic themes.
In my opinion this is another great sounding recording from Tetragrammacide and if you are a fan of war, black, death metal, grindcore and harsh noise, you should check out this ep.
