2. How would you describe the musical sound of the new album and how it differs from previous releases?
In "Blood Breathing Idols" the listener should expect Occult Black Metal with Heavy and Thrash influences, all filtered through our personal style and sound. There is a certain cohension with the previous Primeval Mass releases, I would characterize though the new album more mature and integrated as result, as we have given more attention to the details this time. That doesn't mean of course that we are no longer fully satisfied with the previous releases, they just represent a different time where standards and qualifications were less evolved than now.

3. The album lyrics cover alot of occult topics can you tell us a little bit more about your interest in this field?
It would be better to let the listener study the lyrics on his own and make his conclusions. In general, the lyrical inspiration derives from knowledge with the Occult (the hidden from the masses) being part of it. Occult or not, knowledge is power and no part of it should be ignored since it is validated as true. I am interested to learn, to know, to empower myself with knowledge through experience, ignoring the prejudice and titles these masses give to mechanisms they can't understand.

4. What is the meaning and inspiration behind the bands name?
Primeval Mass is Chaos, wherefrom All emanate. It is the essence of Life itself.

5. What are some of the best shows that the band has played so far and how would you describe your stage performance?
We have only performed live twice, 9 years ago. Both gigs were nice, we were a new band then and the crowd seemed to like our material. We, too, enjoyed the whole experience and most probably we will repeat such actions, sooner or later.

6. Do you have any touring or show plans for the future?
No.
No.
7. The new album is getting released by both Stuza productions and Katoptron Records, how would you describe the support they have given you so far?
We co-operate with Stuza many years now and Thurios has shown continuously his support to Primeval Mass. Concerning Katoptron IX, we participate ourselves with this label and the other individuals behind Katoptron are friends as well, so the support is definite.

8. On a worldwide level how has the feeback been to your music by fans of black metal?
Very good so far, we receive positive feedback each time we present a new release. And so with the most recent "Blood Breathing Idols" which has got equally good reviews until now.

10. What are some bands or musical styles that have influenced your newer music and also what are you listening to nowadays?
When I started the band I was mainly influenced by bands such as Destruction, Voivod, Hallows Eve and later bands like Bathory, The Black, Emperor, Marduk, Necromass influenced me as well. What was initial goal though was to recognise, on the one hand, these influences but to create something unique, not a copy of my favorite bands. Generally, the old classic Heavy Metal, Thrash from the 80s and the 90s Black Metal sounds are what I still consider as influences and this is the music I still enjoy the most. Also, some newer Heavy Metal releases and in a different style, I also like bands like Rush, Eloy, King Crimson amongst others.
