This is a review of a compilation from Fallen Empire Records called "Svn Okklt" which was released in 2013 and we will review the songs one by one.
Starting off the compilation is Witch In Her Tomb with "VII" a songs that mixes occult black metal, punk and harsh noise together with some very primitive riffing and high pitched black metal screams.
Next up is Axis Of Light with "Secrets Of The Tomb" w very heavy, fast, raw and primitive sounding black metal song.
Next up is Death Fortress with "Master- Deceiver" a raw and primitive sounding black metal song with heavy bass lines and deep demonic growls.
Next up is Nuklearenpest with "Burning The Bridge That Traverses The Abyss" a very old school sounding raw and primitive black metal song.
Next up is Sylvus with "Astral Genocide" a very heavy, old school, raw and primitive sounding occult black metal song that utilizes some melodic leads.
Next up is Tardigrada with "Leere" a very dark and atmospheric depressive black metal song that is long and epic in length.
Next up is Eos with "Katharsis" a very long and epic in length ambient black metal song that utilizes some raw and primitive sounding elements.
Next up is Gevurah with "Divine Ignition" a very long and epic in length atmospheric black metal song that utilizes some raw and primitive sounding elements as well as some deeper vocals.
Next up is Dressed In Streams with "Deep Saffron" a very long and epic in length atmospheric, psychedelic black metal song that compare raw and primitive elements as well as high pitched screams with more experimental parts.
Next up is Xothist with "A Binding" a very atmospheric, raw and primitive sounding ambient black metal song.
Closing the compilation is Jute Gyte with "Detritivore" a very long and epic in length experimental and atmospheric black metal song.
In conclusion I feel this is a very great sounding compilation with a lot of variety and I would recommend it to all fans of black metal. RECOMMENDED BUY.
