Chapter V:F10 are a duo from Ukraine that plays a very atmospheric form of black metal and this is a review of their 2015 album "Syndrome" which was released by Bloodred Distribution.
A very melodic and raw black metal sound starts off the album along with some deep grim scrams, atmospheric sounds and blast beats and a good portion of the tracks are very long and epic in length and at times the vocals get more high pitched while the solos and leads bring in more of a melodic black metal style.
Throughout the recording you can hear a great mixture of slow, mid paced and fast parts and clean singing can also be heard in certain sections of the recording and the bands musi8cal style is more in tune with the modern atmospheric black metal sound while a great amount of second wave influences are still added into the music with the faster parts bringing that element into the songs and at times the music has a Swedish vibe at times without copying that style and also sticking to their own version of this genre.
Chapter V:F10 plays a style of black metal that is very raw, heavy and aggressive sounding while also being very melodic and bringing in a great mixture of both second and third wave influences, the production sounds very professional while the lyrics deal with dark and emotional themes.
In my opinion Chapter V:F10 are a very great sounding atmospheric black metal band and if you are a fan of this musical genre, you should check out this recording. RECOMMENDED TRACKS INCLUDE "Nectar" and "Mercury". 8 out of 10.
