Elders Of The Apocalypse are a band from Tennessee that plays a mixture of war, black and thrash metal and this is a review of their 2011 cassette "The Law Of Iron" which was released by No Visible Scars.
Drums range from slow, mid paced to fast drumming with a great amount of brutal sounding blast beats being thrown into the music, while the bass playing has a very dark tone with riffs that follow the riffing that is coming out of the guitars.
Rhythm guitars range from slow, mid paced to fast riffing that combines war, black and thrash metal to create a sound of their own with a great amount of heavy, raw and primitive riffing, while the lead guitars are very violent, raw and primitive black/death/thrash metal guitar solos and leads.
Vocals are all black/thrash/war metal screams and growls as well as some samples from movies, while the lyrics cover sorcery, barbarians, rituals, war and thrash metal, as for the production it has a very raw and primitive sound to it which is perfect for a cassette.
In my opinion Elders Of The Apocaylpse are a very great sounding heavy, raw and primitive mixture of black, war and thrash metal and if you are a fan of this musical genre, you should check out this band. RECOMMENDED TRACKS INCLUDE "Warriors Of Holocaust" "Plaguelords" "Spell Of Destruction" and "Your Kingdom...Now In Ruins". RECOMMENDED BUY.
