TujAroT are a band from the Slovakia that plays a very ritualistic, atmospheric and dark ambient form of occult black metal and this is a review of their self released 2014 ep "Cult Of Aether".
A very dark and occult ambient/drone sound starts off the ep along with some clean guitars and voices being utilized in the background and a few seconds later drums are added into the 19 minute track which slowly leads up to electric guitars making their presence known on this recording along with some melodies being utilized.
After a few minutes grim black metal screams along with a very fast and raw sound that utilizes a great amount of blast beats are added into the track along with a very distorted sounding bass guitar and the song starts using a good mixture of slow, mid paced and fast parts which they also mix in with their experimental and ritualistic sound that also utilizes some acoustic guitars at times while also bringing in a good balance between both clean and heavy parts and they also bring in guitar leads at times.
TujAroT creates a 19 minute piece that is very ritualistic and experimental sounding which they also mixes in with an occult black metal to create a very original sounding recording, the production sounds very dark and raw sounding while the lyrics cover Occultism, Black Magick, and Left Hand Path themes.
In my opinion TujAroT are a very great sounding ritualistic, atmospheric and dark ambient occult black metal and if you are a fan of this musical genre, you should check out this ep. 8 out of 10.
