Vessel Of Iniquity are a solo project from the United Kingdom that has had music reviewed before in this zine and plays a bestial form of blackened death metal with some elements of noise and experimental music and this is a review of his 2019 album "Void Of Infinite Horror" which will be released on January 21st as a joint effort between Xenoglossy Productions and Sentient Ruin Laboratories.
A very fast, raw and brutal war metal sound starts off the album along with a great amount of blast beats along with some demonic voices in the background while elements of experimental, ambient and noise can also be heard at times as well as some dark sounding melodies also being used at times.
Most of the music is very heavily rooted in black and death metal while the songs also bring in a great mixture of slow, mid paced and fast parts along with the vocals also bringing in a decent amount of high pitched screams as well as some harsh power electronics also being added in certain sections of the recording.
On this recording Vessel Of Iniquity remains true to his bestial mixture of black, death metal and noise, the production sounds very dark, raw and lo-fi while the lyrics cover Babalon and Occultism themes.
In my opinion this is another great sounding album from Vessel of Iniquity and if you are a fan of black, death metal and noise, you should check out this recording. RECOMMENDED TRACKS INCLUDE "Invocation Of The Heart Girt With A Serpent" and "Mother Of Abomination". 8 out of 10.
