Dzoavits are a band from Florida that plays a very raw and melodic style of occult black metal and this is a review of their self released demo which was released in 2014.
A very fast and raw sound along with some blast beats and melodic guitar leads which are also used again on some of the later tracks start off the demo which leads up to high pitched screams being added into the music and the songs also bring in a more modern style of the genre along with some melody also being added into the guitar riffing at times.
Throughout the recording there is a good mixture of slow, mid paced and fast parts and at times the vocals get more deep and add in a touch of death metal and the songs also bring in a good amount of 90's black metal influences but adding in a more modern approach and all of the musical instruments have a very powerful sound to them.
Dzoazvits plays a style of black metal that is very raw and melodic as well as mixing the second and third wave sounds together to create a sound of their own and there is never a soft or weak moment to be heard anywhere on the recording, the production sounds very dark and raw yet powerful at the same time while the lyrics cover Occultism, Egyptian and Greek Paganism themes.
