Goat Christ/The Temple Of Goat Christ/2015 Demo Review

  Goat  Christ  are  a  band  from  Greece  that  plays  a  bestial  mixture  of  black  and  death  metal  and  this  is  a  review  of  their  self  released  2015  demo  "The  Temple  Of  Goat  Christ".

  Goat  sounds  start  off  the  demo  before  going  into  a  very  fast  and  war metal  direction  that  uses  a  great  amount  of  blast  beats  and  tremolo  picking  while  the  vocals  bring  in  a  great  mixture  of  both  bestial  growls  and  black   metal  screams  and  the  music  mixes  in  a  great  amount  of  old  school  influences. 

  All  of  the  tracks  are  very  short  in  length  while  all  of  the  riffs  are  done  on  power  chords  and  no  melodies  or  guitar  solos  are  ever  utilized  while  you  can  also  hear  all  of  the  musical  instruments  that  are  present  on  the  recording  and  they  close  the  demo  with  a  cover  of  Von's  "Satanic  Blood".

Goat  Christ  plays  a  style  of  a  musical  style  that  takes  bestial  black/death  and  war  metal  and  mixes  them  together  to  create  some  blasphemous  music,  the  production sounds  very  raw  while  the  lyrics  cover  Satanism,  Blasphemy  and  Witchcraft  themes.

  In  my  opinion  Goat  Christ  are  a  very  great  sounding  bestial  mixture  of  black,  war  and  death  metal  and  if  you  are  a  fan  of  those  musical  genres,  you  should  check  out  this  band.  RECOMMENDED  TRACKS  INCLUDE  "The  Temple  Of  Goat  Christ"  and  "Descending  Into  Satan's  Throat".  8  out  of  10,.
