Sangue Nero are a band from Italy that plays an experimental form of black metal and this is a review of their 2017 album "Viscere" which was released by Third-I-Rex.
Atmospheric sounding drones start off the album along with some natural noises while melodic chants are also used briefly and after awhile the music goes into a heavier direction along with all of the musical instruments sounding very powerful and on the second track the music starts to speed up.
Vocals are mostly tortured style black metal s creams while the faster sections of the songs also use a great amount of tremolo picking and blast beats which also gives the music more of a raw feeling while they also mix the experimental and heavy parts and the songs also bring in a great mixture of slow, mid paced and fast parts while one track is very long and epic in length and also introduces tribal instruments and didgeridoo's onto the recording.
Sangue Nero plays a style of black metal that is very experimental while also having its raw moments and bringing in a very modern style, the production sounds very dark and raw while the lyrics cover Mysticism, Magick, and Chaos themes.
In my opinion Sangue Nero are a very great sounding experimental black metal band and if you are a fan of this musical genre, you should check out this album. "II and "V". 8 out of 10.
