Daemon Of Oa are a solo project from Greece that plays a very raw, melodic and satanic form of black metal and this is a review of his self released 2017 ep "An Evil Inhail".
A very fast and raw sound starts off the ep along with a great amount of tremolo picking and blast beats while all of the musical instruments have a very powerful sound to them while the vocals are mostly grim black metal screams as well as the music also being very heavily rooted in the 90's era.
Throughout the recording you can also hear a great mixture of slow, mid paced and fast parts while the riffs also bring in a small amount of melody at times along with the guitar solos and leads also being done in a very melodic fashion when they are utilized and as the ep progresses a brief use of spoken word parts can also be heard as well as some growls also being used briefly.
Daemon Of Oa plays a style of black metal that is very raw, melodic and traditional sounding, the production sounds very powerful for being a self released recording while the lyrics cover Satanism, Darkness, and Evil themes.
In my opinion Daemon Of Oa are a very great sounding raw and melodic satanic black metal solo project and if you are a fan of this musical genre, you should check out this ep. RECOMMENDED TRACKS INCLUDE "Invocation Of The Cosmic Stream" and "Pervert Eyes". 8 out of 10.
