Lihhamon are a band from Germany that plays a bestial mixture of war, black and death metal and this is a review of their 2017 album "Doctrine" which was released by Nuclear War Now! Productions.
A very dark sounding intro starts off the album along with some operatic vocals in the background before going into a very fast, raw and brutal war metal direction which also uses a great amount of blast beats while the vocals are mostly bestial death metal growls as well as the tremolo picking giving the songs a more raw feeling.
Dark sounding melodies can also be heard in some of the guitar riffing while the songs also bring in a decent mixture of slow, mid paced and fast parts and when synths are used briefly they give the music more of a war orientated atmosphere along with the music also mixing in a great amount of black metal elements as well a s some songs also bringing in a small amount of screams and all of the musical instruments have a very powerful sound to them, when spoken word parts are utilized they give the music more of a ritualistic feeling.
Lihhamon plays a musical style that takes the rawest elements of black, war and death metal and mixes them together to create a sound of their own, the production sounds very dark and raw while the lyrics cover history, obliteration, war and suppression themes.
In my opinion Lihhamon are a very great sounding mixture of war, black, and death metal and if you are a fan of those musical genres, you should check out this band. RECOMMENDED TRACKS INCLUDE "Genocide Crusade" "Ironsides" and "Death And Torment". 8 out of 10.
