A.R.:.O.:.A.A/NGLSHRRLDTHRTL XXX.MMXIX/Inverse Solar Reqvriem/2019 Demo Review

 

  This  is  a  review  of  another  recording  from  United  Kingdom's  solo  project  A.R.:.O.:.A.A  which  shows  the  music  going  for  an  ambient,  atmospheric,  lo-fi,  occult,  raw  and  ritualistic  form  of  black  metal  and  the  demo  was  originally  released  in  2019  by  Inverse  Solar  Reqvriem  and  called  "NGLSHRRLDTHRTL  XXX.MMXIX".

  A  very  fast  and  raw  sound  starts  off  the  demo  along  with  a  great  amount  of  tremolo  picking  and  blast  beats.  Clear  vocals  can  also  be  heard  briefly  while  the  only  track  present  on  this  recording  is  over  13  minutes  in  length  as  well  as  capturing  a  very  lo-fi  atmosphere  and  the  synths  also  add  in  some  atmospheric  and  ambient  touches.

  At  times  the  music  also  gets  very  repetitive  sounding  while  using  the  same  riffing  structure  for  a  few  minutes  on  end  before  going  into  more  of  a  ritualistic  direction  on  the  second  half  of  the  demo  and  evil  sounding  spoken  word  parts  can  also  be  heard  briefly.

  On  this  recording  A.R.:.O.:.A.A  plays  a  style  of  black  metal  that  is  very  raw,  ritualistic,  lo-fi  and  atmospheric  sounding  as  well  as  adding  in  elements  of  dark  ambient  to  create  a  very  diverse  recording.  The  production  sounds  very  dark  and  raw  while  the  lyrics  cover  death  rituals.

  In  my  opinion  this  is  another  great  sounding  recording  from  A.R.:.O.:.A.A  and  if  you  are  a  fan  of  ambient,  atmospheric,  lo-fi,  occult,  raw  and  ritualistic  black  metal,  you  should  check  out  this  demo.
