1.For those that have never heard of you before, can you tell us a little bit about the band?
Beleth’s Trumpet is formed in 2023 in northern depths of Finland by vhvvdth and M.SF. You can except fiercing black metal storm on the first album!
2.In July you have your first full length coming out, musically how does it differ from your previous demo?
There are maybe some haunting melodies, production is better and some of the demo songs are composed on a new way. But overall, musically it will follow the same path as demo.
3.What are some of the lyrical topics and subjects the band has explored so far with the music?
Death worship and straight-forward anti-christianity.
4.I know that the band was named after the King Of Hell in Demonology, can you tell us a little bit more about your interest in the Black Arts?
All of us have been intrested in black arts since teenage. We follow our own paths but of course they cross time to time so example the lyrics are ”easy” for me to do.
5.Can you tell us a little bit more about the artwork that is presented on the new album cover?
It’s made by talented Dhomth art. When I saw artwork for Horna’s NYX and got the chance to work with she, I knew she’s the right person for that. I send the lyrics from song ”Chapel of bones” and that’s her vision. And it just like we wanted it be!
6.What are some of the best shows that the band has played so far and also how would you describe your stage performance?
We played in February at our hometown Oulu with Horna, Barathrum etc. and I think that’s our best show so far.
Stage performance, Blood, fire, death. That sums it up pretty good.
7.Do you have any touring or show plans once the new album is released?
There are couple of gigs planned now but hopefully there is more to come!
8.The new album is going to be released on 'Dominance of Darkness Records', how did you get on contact with this label?
One guy from dutch band Wrang is living in Finland and he recommended the label so we decided to contact him. And it was good decision.
9.On a worldwide level how has the reaction been to your music by fans of black metal?
What i have heard or read, feedback is really positive. And especially from the live shows, people have likes those pretty much!
10Where do you see the band heading into musically during the future/
Maybe new material has more variety because on the new songs, there is two guitarists who makes the riffs. Almost all the first album riffs are from the vhvvdth’s work.
11.What are some of the bands or musical styles that have had an influence on your music and also what are you listening to nowadays?
Most of all, nineties black metal. Horna, Gorgoroth, etc. From the newer era, Terratur Possessions scene have had strong influence to us.
Nowadays I have been listening those same BM bands as always and now ’cause it’s summer here in Finland, old death metal (Deicide, Morbid Angel, Entombed…), DANZIG and finnish shlaeger have been spinning on a record player.
12.Before we wrap up this interview, do you have any final words or thoughts?
Check out first album, Chapel of bones, if you like traditional BLACK METAL! And come to witness us live, it’s gonna be rough ride!
