Indesiderium are a duo from Los Angeles, California that has had music reviewed before in this zine and on this recording plays an occult form of black metal and this is a review of their 2025 album "The Nocturnal Seance Of Lucifer" which will be released on June 26th as a joint effort between Satanath and WP And RO Productions.
A very apocalyptic sounding intro starts off the album along with some synths before going into a heavier direction. Vocals are mostly grim sounding black metal screams while the faster sections of the songs also add in a great amount of tremolo picking and blast b eats which also gives the recording more of a raw feeling.
Melodies are also added into some of the guitar riffing while the music is also very heavily influenced by the old school era. When guitar solos and leads are utilized they are also done in a very dark yet melodic style along with the songs also adding in a good mixture of slow, mid paced and fast parts as well as am interlude also being added before every track which also gives the album more of a ritualistic atmosphere.
On this recording Indesiderium goes for a very fast, aggressive and traditional form of occult black metal. The production sounds very dark and raw while the lyrics cover Occultism, Luciferian, Darkness and Apocalyptic themes.
In my opinion this is another great sounding album from Indesiderium and if you are a fan of occult black metal, you should check out this recording. RECOMMENDED TRACKS INCLUDE "Merciless Extermination" "Apocalyptic Funeral March" and "the 9 Circles of Inferno". 8 out of 10.
