Bride Of Dankenstein/2003 Demo Review

  Bride  Of  Dankenstein  are  a  band  from  the  Czech  Republic  that  plays  a  very  melodic,  raw  and  primitive  form  of  black  metal  and  this  is  a  review  of  their  self  released  2003  demo.

  Drums  range  from  slow,  mid  paced  to  fast  drumming  with  some  blast  beats  being  utilized  at  times,  while  the  bass  playing  has a  very  dark  tone  with  riffs  that  follow  the  riffing  that  are  coming  out  of  the  guitars.

  Rhythm  guitars  range  from  slow, mid  paced  to  fast  black  metal  riffs  that  are  very  raw  and  primitive  sounding  with  a  great  amount  of  melody  being  thrown  into  the  riffing  as  well  as  some  soft  and  clean  playing  being  utilized  on  the  last  song,  while  the  lead  guitars  are  very  melodic  sounding  black  metal  guitar  solos  and  leads.

  Vocals  are  all  grim  sounding  black  metal  screams  that h ave  a  very  depressive  tone  to  them at  times,  while  the  lyrics  cover  dark  themes,  as  for  the  production  it  has  a  very  dark,  raw  and  primitive  sound  to  it  in  the  true  old  school  black  metal  tradition.

  In  my  opinion  Bride  Of  Dankenstein  are  a  very  great  sounding  melodic,  raw  and  primitive  black  metal  band  and  if  you  are  a  fan  of  this  musical  genre,  you  should  check  out  this  demo.  RECOMMENDED  TRACKS  INCLUDE  "Alarmed  The  Soul"  and  "Rotten  World".  RECOMMENDED  BUY.
