Iprit/Second Demo/Penguin Trail Records/2012 Review

This  is  a  review  of  the  second  demo  from  Iprit  which  was  released  in  2012  by  Penguin  Trial  Records  which  also  continues their  raw  and  primitive  black  metal  sound.

Drums  range  from  slow,  mid  paced  to  fast  drumming  with  some  blast  beats  being  utilized,  while  the  bass  playing  has  a  very  dark  tone  with  riffs  that  follow  the  riffing  that  are  coming  out  of  the  guitars.

Rhythm  guitars  range  from  slow,  mid  paced  to  fast  black  metal  riffs  that  are  very  old  school,  raw  and  primitive  sounding  along  with  a  good  amount  of  melody  and  some  crossover  influences  in  the  riffing  and  there  are  little  to  no  guitar  solos  or  leads  present  on  this  recording.

Vocals  range  from  high  pitched  black  metal s creams  to  deep  growls,  while  the  lyrics  cover  hateful  themes,  as  for  the  production  it  has  a  very  old  school,  raw  and  primitive  sound  in  the  true  black  metal  tradition.

In  my  opinion  this  is  another  great  sounding  demo  from  Iprit  and  if  you  are  a  fan  of  old  school, raw  and  primitive  black  metal,  you  should  check  out this  demo.  RECOMMENDED  TRACKS  INCLUDE  "Nothing  To  Hope  For"  and  "Money  Stinks"  which  is  a  D.R.I  cover.  RECOMMENDED  BUY.'
