Intolerant are a band from the United States that plays a very raw and primitive form of old school black metal and this is a review of their 2012 ep "Blood Will Be Avenged" which was released by Horizon Productions.
Drums range from slow, mid paced to fast drumming with some blast beats being thrown into the music at times, while the keyboards are only used on the to start the perfect atmosphere for the recording, as for the bass playing it has a very dark tone with riffs that follow the riffing that are coming out of the guitars.
Rhythm guitars range from slow, mid paced to fast old school black metal riffs that are very raw and primitive sounding in the 90's tradition and there are no guitar solos or leads present on this recording.
Vocals are all high pitched hateful black metal screams, while the lyrics cover dark and violent themes, as for the production it has a very old school, raw and primitive sound to it in the 90's black metal tradition.
In my opinion Intolerant are a very great sounding old school, raw and primitive black metal band and if you are a fan of this musical genre, you should check out this recording. RECOMMENDED TRACKS INCLUDE "Blood Will Be Avenged" and "Time Heals Nothing". RECOMMENDED BUY.
