Kult et Morete are a band from Spain that plays a very aggressive and mid tempo form of black metal and this is a review of their 2023 album "Decadence And Descent" which was released by Ondercover Records.
Clean playing starts off the album while all of the musical instruments on the recording also have a very powerful sound to them. Vocals are mostly high pitched black metal screams while the riffs also add in a decent amount of melody and some of the tracks are also very long and epic in length.
Most of the music brings in more of a modern yet still very underground style while most of the songs stick to either a slow or mid paced direction. When the music speeds up a small amount of tremolo picking and blast beats can be heard which also gives the tracks more of a raw feeling, clear vocals and spoken word parts are also utilized briefly.
Kult et Morte plays a style of black metal that is very aggressive, modern and mid tempo sounding as well as still having their rooted in the old school era of the genre. The production sounds very professional while the lyrics are written in a mixture of English and Spanish and cover desolation and death themes.
In my opinion Kult et Morte are a very great sounding aggressive and mid tempo black metal band and if you are a fan of this musical genre, you should check out this band. REOMMENDED TRACKS INCLUDE "Charming Deep Scars" "Ode From Darkness" and "Morbid lakes Of Blood". 8 out of 10.
