Blliiigghhted are a band from Turkey that plays an ambient form of black metal and this is a review of their 2014 album "Which Of You Have Done This" which was released by Merdumgiriz Records.
A very dark ambient sound starts off the album along with some melodic guitar leads and spoken word parts a few seconds later which also gives the recording a ritualistic feeling and you can hear a good amount of atmospheric sound s in the background along with the guitars adding in a doom metal influence.
After awhile high pitched black metal screams and grim vocals are added into the 30 minute song this whole album consists of, after awhile clean playing can be heard in the music and it also gives the recording more of a depressive feeling along with small amounts of melodic vocals being added in at times which also enhance the evil nature of the recording and towards the end of the recording the vocals start adding more deep and demonic death metal elements into the bands musical sound.
Blliiigghhted creates a 30 minute track that is very ritualistic as well as remaining in a slow direction from beginning to end and you can hear a mixture of grim and depressive black metal in the vocals, doom metal and melodies in the guitars and a dark ambient and atmospheric background, the production sounds very dark, while the lyrics cover Satanism and Luciferian themes.
In my opinion Blliiigghhted are a very great sounding ritualistic and dark ambient black metal band and if you are a fan of this musical genre, you should check out this album. 8 out of 10.
