Aeon Of Eternal are a solo project from Poland that plays an atmospheric and melodic mixture of blac, doom and death metal and this is a review of his self released 2021 album "The Wanderer".
Atmospheric soundscapes and female vocals start off the album before going into more of a heavier and melodic musical direction. Elements of doom metal are also added into the slower sections of the songs along with the faster sections of the tracks also adding in a great amount of tremolo picking and blast beats which also gives the music more of a raw feeling.
Vocals are a mixture of death metal growls and black metal screams while the solos and leads are also done in a very melodic style. Clean playing is also added into certain sections of the recording which also adds in touches of post rock and shoegaze along with all of the musical instruments also having a very powerful sound to them.
Influences of goth metal are also added into some parts of the recording along with some of the tracks also being very long and epic in length. Synths and keyboards can also be heard on a few tracks as well as all of the drum beats also being programmed, throughout the album you can also hear a decent mixture of slow, mid paced and fast parts and choirs, male vocals and acoustic guitars can also be heard briefly. The production sounds very professional while the lyrics are written in Polish and cover emotional themes.
In my opinion Aeon Of Eternal are a very great sounding atmospheric and melodic mixture of black, doom and death metal and if you are a fan of those musical genres, you should check out this solo project. RECOMMENDED TRACKS INCLUDE "Niwl" "Daruuraha" and "Torden". 8 out of 10.
