Necromorbid are a band from Italy that plays a very bestial mixture of war, black and death metal and this is a review of their 2016 cassette "El Dia de la Bestia" which was released by Caligari Records.
Horror movie style keyboards start off the album along with some demonic death metal growls a few seconds later which also leads to a fast direction that also uses a great amount of tremolo picking and blast beats which also gives the songs more of a raw feeling and the vocals also mix in high pitched black metal screams.
Most of the music is very heavily rooted in a war metal style and when solos and leads are utilized they are done in a very chaotic fashion and the songs also bring in a great mixture of slow, mid paced and fast parts and you can also hear all of the musical instruments that are present on the recording and they also bring in a cover of Black Witchery's "Desecration Of The Holy Kingdom" before closing the recording with an outro.
Necromorbid plays a musical style that takes black, war and death metal and mixes them together to create a very raw, brutal and heavy sounding recording, the production sounds very raw and old school while the lyrics cover Satanism, Necromancy and Anti Christian themes.
In my opinion Necromorbid are a very great sounding bestial mixture of war, black and death metal and if you are a fan of those musical genres, you should check out this band. RECOMMENDED TRACKS INCLUDE "Manifestation Of Demonic Revenge" "Supreme Satanic Redemption" and "Cathedral Of The Black Goat". 8 out of 10.
