Unhappy/Threnody/2013 Full Length Review

  Unhappy  are  back  this  time  with  a  self  released  album  called  "Threnody"  which  was  released  in  2013  and  is  in  the depressive  black  metal  genre  along  with  elements  of  experimental  music.

  "Threnody"  which  is  the  first  song  on  the  album  as  well  as  title  track  opens  up  with  atmospheric  synths  that  are  in  the  dark  ambient  direction  and  a  few  seconds  later  melodic  chanting  makes  its  way  into  the  song.

  "Blood  Red  Death" begins  with  fast,  raw  and  primitive  black  metal  guitar  riffs  and  programmed  drum  beats  before  slowing  down  a  bit  and  you  can  hear  screams  in  the  background  that  are  mixed  down  low  in  the  mix  and  the  song  also  alternates  between  slow  and  fast  parts.

  "Cold"  opens  up  with  noisy,  fast  and  primitive  black  metal  guitar  riffs,  programmed  drum  beats  and  demonic  growls along  with  some  black  metal  screams  a  few  seconds  later  and  then  the  song  starts  to  alternate  between  slow  and  fast  parts  and  there  is  also  a  small  amount  of  guitar  leads  in  the  song.

  "Fuck  Your  Hope"  starts  up  with  raw  black  metal  guitar  riffs,  programmed  vocals  and  black  metal  screams  and  then  the  song  starts  alternating  between  slow  and  fast  parts  and  the  song  is  very  short  and  only  2  minutes.

  "Hello Cruel Life(I'm  ready  to  Fight)"  kicks  in  with  distorted  sounding  guitar  riffs,  programmed  drum  beats  and  depressive  black  metal  screams  and   you  can  also  hear  deeper  vocals  in  the  background  and  there  are  also  fast  parts  that  come  in  and  out.

  "Ocean  And  Sky"  comes  in with  distorted  guitar  riffing,  guitar  leads  and  programmed  drum  beats  and  then  the  music  speeds  up  and  deeper  vocals  are  added  into  the  song  which  leads  to  the  song  alternating  between  fast  and  slow  parts.

  "Eternal  Winter"  is  introduced  with  slow  and  dark  depressive  guitar  riffs,  grim  black  metal  vocals  and  drum  beats  and  the  song  stays  in  a  slow  depressive  black  metal  direction  along  with  the  same  riff  for  5  minutes.

  "Night  Of  The  Demons"  is  brought  in  with  distorted  guitar riffing,  drum  programming  and  depressive  black  metal  screams   and  a  minute  alter  the  music  goes  into  a  faster  direction and  then  alternating  between  slow  and  fast  parts.

  "Cessation"  is  a  very  short  ambient/drone  instrumental.

  "Funeral  Flowers"  makes  its  way  in  with  distorted  guitar  riffing  and  a  few  seconds  alter  deep  demonic  vocals  are  brought  into  the  song  and  then  they  evolve  into  grim  black  metal  screams  and  the  song  uses  the  same  riff  from  open  to  end.

  "Majestic  Black  Sky,  Mercy  On  Us"  brings  its  way  in  with  distorted  amp  effects  and  slow  guitar  riffs  along  with  some  programmed  drum  beats  which  also  lead  up  to  grim  black  metal  screams  and  the  song  sticks  to  the  same  riff  for  3  minutes.

  "Olum"  finds  its  way  in  with  distorted  guitar  riffing  along  with  some  programmed  drum  beats  which  also  lead  to  grim  and  depressive  sounding  black  metal  screams  and  the  song  only  uses  1  riff  for  a  couple  of  minutes.

  "Wintergrey"  has  its  openings  with  wolf  sounds  before  adding  in  noisy  and  distorted  guitar  riffing  along  with  some  drum  beats  and  depressive  black  metal  screams  and  you  can  hear  synths  in  the  background  and  the  song  ends  after  2  minutes.

  "Healer  Is  Dead  (Who  Is  Going  To  Help  Us  Now)"  has  its  beginnings  with  distorted  guitar  riffing  that  is  not  very  heavy  along  with  some  drum  beats  which  also  lead  up  to  depressive  black  metal  screams  and  towards  the  end  the  music  goes  into  a  faster  direction  before  slowing  down  again.

  "Night  Is  Not  Friendly  Anymore-Live"  has  its  start  with  clean  guitar  playing  and  melodic  vocals  as  well  as  some  drum  beats  and  does  not  utilize  any  black  metal  screams  or  heavy  guitar  riffs  during  its  time.

  "Blind-Live"  opens  up  with  clean  guitar  playing  and  programmed  beats  and  you  can  hear  blues  rock  elements  in  the  song  and  after  awhile  melodic  clean  singing  vocals  make  their  way  into   the  song.

  "God  On  Twitter(Like  All  Of  The  Motherfuckers)"  begins  with  harsh  noise  sounds  and  melodic  vocals  which  evolve  into  black  metal  screams  and  the  song  goes  into  a  more  black/harsh  noise  direction.  

  "Sorrowlight  Sonata'  starts  up  with  soft  synth  playing  and  the  song  is  a  14  minute  long  ambient  instrumental  that  sticks  to t he  same  direction  mostly but  you  can  also  hear  a  brief  use  of  loops  being  utilized  in t he  song.

  "Sky  of  the  Past -  A  Song  For  Jandek  -  Live"  which  is  alos  the  last  song  on  the  album  kicks  in  with  acoustic  guitars  and  melodic  clean  singing  vocals  and  the  song  has  no  elements  of  metal  or  heavy  parts.

  Song  lyrics  cover  dark,  depressive  and  anti religion  themes,  while  the  production  has  a  very  dark,  raw  and  primitive  sound  to  it.

  This  is  a  review  of  a  split  album  between  the  United  Kingdom's  Perpetua  and  Turkey's  Unhappy  called  "Bleak  And  Dark  Days"  which  was  self  released  in  2013  and  we  will  start  off  the  review  with  Perpetua  a  1  man  band  that  plays  a  very  depressive  form  of  black  metal.

  "Into  Darkness,  I  Fall"  which  is  also  the  first  song  on  his  side  of  the  split  opens  up  with  depressive  black  metal  guitar  riffs  and  programmed  beats  which  also  leads  to  grim  screams  which  also  leads  up  to  a  small  amount  of  guitar  leads.

  "Isolation  And  Sadness"  begins  with  drum  programming  along  with  some  melodic,  depressive  guitar  riffing  as  well  as  some  drum  beats  which  also  leads  up  to  the  grim  high  pitched  screams  along  with  a  small  amount  of  deep  demonic  growls  and  as  the  song  moves  on  guitar  leads  are  added  into  the  song  for  awhile  before  returning  to  a  more  normal  direction.

  "The  Flood"  which  is  also  the  last  song  on  his  side  of  the  split  begins  with  slow  black  metal  guitar  riffs,  programmed  beats  and  grim  screams  and  towards  the  end  the  drum  beats  speed  up  a  bit.

  In  my  opinion  Perpetua  are  a  very  great  sounding  depressive  black  metal  project  and  if  you  are  a  fan  of  this   musical  genre,  you  should  check  out  this  side  of  the  split.  RECOMMENDED  TRACK  "Isolation  And  Sadness".  RECOMMENDED.

  "Night  Of  the  Demons"  begins  with  dark  guitar  riffs,  programmed  drum  beats  and  grim  sounding  depressive  black  metal  screams  and  a  few  seconds  later  it  goes  into  a  faster  direction  for  a  few  seconds  before  slowing  down  again.

  "Olum"  opens  up  with  depressive  black  metal  guitar  riffs,  drum  beats  and  grim  screams  and  the  song  uses  the  same  riff  from  the  beginning  to  end  and  sticks  to  a  slow  direction  throughout  the  song.

  "Crawling  In  The  Dark"  which  is  also  the  last  song  on  the  album  opens  up  with  grim  black  metal  screams  before  adding  in  depressive  guitar  riffs  and  distorted  effects  along  with  some  programmed  drum  beats  and   after  awhile  the  music  slows  down  a  bit.

  This  is  a  review  of  a  split  album  between  Belgium's  Kyllian  and  Turkey's  Unhappy  called  "The  End  Of  The  Human  Race"  which  was  self  released  in  2013  and  we  will  start  off  the  review  with  Kyllian  a  1  man  band  that  plays  a  very  experimental  form  of  depressive  black  metal.

  "You  Fucking  Bitch"  which  is  also  the  first  song  on  the  album  opens  up  with  dark  sounding  synths  and  experimental  noises  as  well  as  some  trip  hop  style  drum  programming  which  leads  up  to  spoken  word  samples,  halfway  through  the  song  depressive  black  metal s creams  are  added  in  for  a  few  seconds.

  "Take  Me  From  This  Place"  begins  with  spoken  word  samples  and  synths  which  also  leads  up  to  acoustic  guitars  and  towards  the  end  there  is  a  brief  use  of  depressive  black  metal  screams  being  utilized.

  "Pain  Is  Leaving  The  Body"  opens  up  with  distorted noise  sounds  and  programmed  drum  beats  which  leads  up  to  spoken  word  samples  and  the  sounds  of  dying  and  towards  the  end  you  can  hear  some  atmospheric sounding  dark  ambient  synths  and  black  metal  screams  along  with  some  IDM  elements.

  "H.N.A"  which  is  also  the  last  song  on  their  side  of  the  split  begins  with  spoken  word  samples  and  a  few  seconds  later  electronic  dance  music  sounds  make  their  way  into  the  song  and  the  song  remains  in  the  same  direction.

  Song  themes,  cover  darkness  and  violence,  while  the  production  has  a  very  dark  sound  to  it  which  gives  it  an  underground  feeling.

  In  my  opinion  Kylian  are  a  very  great  sounding  mixture  of  dsbm,  dark  ambient  and  experimental  and  if  you  are  a  fan  of  this  musical genre,  you  should  check  out  this  project.  RECOMMENDED  TRACKS  INCLUDE  "You  Fucking  Bitch"  and  "Pain  Is  Leaving  The  Body".  RECOMMENDED.

  Next  up is  another  release  from  Unhappy  which  sticks  to  the  depressive  black  metal  sound.

  "A  Useless  Suicidal  Note"  which  is  also  the  first  song  on  his  side  of  the  split  opens  up  with  distorted  and  slow  guitar  riffs  along  with  some  grim  black  metal  vocals  as  well  as  some  drum  beats  and  the  song  sticks  to  a  slow  depressive  direction.

  "Gilgamesh's  Song  (The  King  Who  Looking  For  Eternal  Life)_Live-"  begins  with  clean  acoustic  guitar  playing  and  drum  beats  along  with  some  clean  singing  melodic  vocals  a  few  seconds  later  and  towards  the  end  dark  sounding  ambient  synths  are  added  into  the  song  along  with  some  spoken  word  samples.

  "Past  Is  Your  Enemy"  opens  up  with  depressive  and  atmospheric  sounding  black  metal  guitar  riffs  and  drum  beats  and  you  can  hear  synths  in  the  background  before  the  drum  beats  speed  up  and  the  music  adds  in  grim  screams  and  then  returning  to  a  slower  direction  before  speeding  up  again  and  then  back  to  slow  along  with  a  small  amount  of  melody.

  "Goodbye  Song-Live-"  which  is  also  the  last  song  on  the  split  begins  with  acoustic  guitars,  drum b eats  and  melodic  vocals  and  towards  the  end  ambient  synths  and  spoken  word  parts  are  added  in  to  give  the  song  an  experimental  feeling.

  Song  lyrics  cover  dark,  depressive  and  a  small  amount  of  Sumerian/Mesopotamian  themes,  while  the  production  has  a  very  dark,  raw  and  primitive  sound  to  it.  

  In  my  opinion  this  is  another  great  sounding  recording  from  Unhappy  and  if  you  are  a  fan  of  depressive  black  metal  with  an  experimental  edge,  you  should  check  out  their  side  of  the  split.  RECOMMENDED  TRACKS  INCLUDE  "A  Useless  Suicidal  Note"  and  "Past  Is  Your  Enemy".  RECOMMENDED.

  "Anti"  which  is  also  the  first  song  on  his  side  of  the  split  opens  up  with  depressive  black  metal  guitar  riffs,  programmed  drum  beats  and  grim  screams  and  you  can  also  hear  synths  in  the  background  as  well  as  a  brief  use  of  spoken  word  parts.

  'Burn  the  Fucking  Mosque"  begins  with  distorted  black  metal  guitar  riffs,  grim  screams  and  programmed  drum  beats  and  the  song  sticks  to  a  raw  and  simplistic  direction  during  its  3  minutes  it  is  on.

  "Die  Muhammad  Die''  opens  up  with  raw  black  metal  guitar  riffs,  grim  screams  and  programmed  drum  beats  and  you  can  hear  a  small  amount  of  melody  in  the  guitar  riffing  before  the  music  speeds  up  a  bit  for  a  few  seconds  before  returning  to  a  slower  direction  which  also  leads  to  elements  of  harsh  noise  making  their  way  into  the  song  and  they  take  over  the  rest  of  the  song.

  "Hatred  Until  The  Last  Breath"  starts  up  with  synths,  depressive  black  metal  guitar  riffs,  programmed  beats  and  grim  vocals  and  you  can  also  hear  a  small  amount  of  melody  in  the  guitar  riffing  as  well  as  a  brief  use  of  leads.

  "Nightmare  Inside"  begins  with  fast,  raw  and  primitive  black  metal  guitar  riffs,  programmed  beats  and  high  pitched,  grim  sounding  screams  and  after  awhile  the  music  goes  into  a  more  quiet  yet  distorted  direction  and  the  vocals  take  over.

  "Your  Sacrifice  Was  the  Work  Of  A  Last  Battle"  opens  up  with  distorted,  fast,  raw  and  primitive  sounding  black  metal  guitar  riffs,  programmed  drum  beats  and  grim  screams  and  towards  the  end  the  drum  beats  and  vocals  take  over.

  'Brutality  Y"  which  is  also  the  last  song  on  their  side  of  the  split  begins  with  programmed  beats  and  melodic  guitar  riffs  that  are  still  in  the  raw  direction  as  well  as  grim  black  metal  vocals  and  the  drum  machine  dominates  the  song  before  heavier  guitar  riffing  comes  in  and  then  going  into  a  lo-fi  direction.

  Song  lyrics  cover  war  and  violence  themes,  while  the  production  has  a  very  raw  and  primitive  sound  to  it.

  In  my  opinion  Tank  Genocide  are  a  very  great  sounding  noisy  and  raw  black  metal  project  and  if  you  are  a  fan  of  this  musical  genre,  you  should  check  out  his  side  of  the  recording.  RECOMMENDED  TRACKS  INCLUDE  "Reconquest  For  Our Blood"  and  "Your  Sacrifice  Was  the  Work  Of  A  Last  Battle".  RECOMMENDED.

  "Black  Metal  Desolation"  which  is  also  the  first  song  on  the  album  opens  up  with  atmospheric sounding  synths  and  3  minutes  later  programmed  drum  beats  along  with  raw  and  primitive  sounding  black  metal  guitar  riffs  make  their  way  into  the  music  along  with  some  grim  screams  that  are  mixed  down  low  in  the  mix  while  also  keeping  around  the   synths  and  after  awhile  the  music  slows  down  a  bit  before  getting  fast  again.

  "Anxiety  AKA  Bourgeois  Depression"  begins  with  slow  guitar  riffs  along  with  some  drum  beats  a  few  seconds  later  and  then  the  grim  black  metal  screams  kick  in  as  well  as  a  small  amount  of  spoken  word  parts.

  "Darkness  Is  My  Sun"  opens  up  with  distorted  noises  before  adding in  drum  beats  and  demonic  vocals  along  with  some  slow  depressive  black  metal  guitar  riffs  and  towards  the  end  the  drum  beats  get  more  aggressive  for  a  few  seconds.

  "Despair"  starts  up  with  distorted  black  metal  guitar  riffs  and  programmed  and  a  few  seconds  later  grim  vocals  come  into  the  music  while  also being  mixed  down  low  in  the  mix  and  the  song  sticks  to  a  slower  black  metal  direction.

  "I  Want  To  Die  (Then  Die)"  kicks  in  with  distorted  and dark  depressive  black  metal  guitar  riffs  and  a  few  seconds  alter  grim  black  metal  vocals  make  their  way  into  the  song  along  with  some  programmed  beats.

  "Rain  And  Grey  Sky"  which  is  also  the  last  song  on  the  album  begins  with  nature  sounds  along  with  some  synths  shortly  after  that  and  a  minute  later  guitar  riffs  and  depressive  black  metal  screams  make  their  way  into  the  song  along  with  some  melodic  guitar  riffing.

  "Intro -  Death  To  Holy,  Death  to  Religions"  opens  up  the album  with  Islamic  style  chanting  as  well  some  some  nature  sounds  and  is  only  a  minute  long.

  "Dismal  Fucking  Gray  Fucking  Sky  Fucking"  begins  with  programmed  drum  beats  before  adding  in  guitar  riffs,  synths  and  grim  black  metal  screams  and  you  can  also  hear  melody  in  the  guitar  riffing  and  the  song  is  a  little  bit  under  2  minutes.

  "Barbarian  Suicidal  Black  Fucking  Metal"  starts  up  with  heavy  guitar  riffs,  drum  beats  and  bestial  black  metal  growls  and  the  song  is  very  short  and  sticks  to  a  more  mid  paced  direction  and  closes  with  the  word  'fuck'.

  "Dark Castle"  kicks  in  with  drum  beats,  spoken  word  parts  and  fast,  raw   and  primitive  black  metal  guitar  riffs  and  a  minute  later  the  music  goes  into  a  slower  direction  along  with  some  deep  growls  before  getting  fast  again.

  "Burn  the  Fucking  Mosque"  comes  in  with  drum  beats,  distorted  black  metal  guitar  riffs  and  grim  black  metal  vocals  and  the  song  is  very  short  and  for  the  most  part  uses  the  same  riff  from  open  to  end.

  "Forest  Of  Dead  Souls"  is  introduced  with  slow  black  metal  guitar  riffs  that  utilize  some  melody  as  well  as  some  depressive  grim  screams  that  are  mixed  down  low  in  the  mix  and  there  are  also  some  weird  sound  effects  added  into  the  music.

  "An  Ugly  Suicidal  Anthem"  is  brought  in  with  raw  and  melodic  slow  riffing  along  with  some  programmed  drum  beats  and  grim  screams  and  the  song  uses  the  same  riff  throughout  the  song  and  is  under  3  minutes.

  "Fuck  The  Satan,  Fuck  The  God"  makes  its  way  in  with  raw  and  distorted  sounding  black  metal  guitar  riffs  and  drum  beats  and  you  can  also  hear  avant  garde  sounding  synths  in  certain  sections  of  the  song.    

  'Gun  Razor  Rope  Drug  Poison"  brings  its  way  in  with  distorted  guitar riff,  drum  beats  and  grim  black  metal  screams  and  the  song  sticks  to  a  more  slow  and  depressive  black  metal  direction  during  it's  3  and  a  half  minutes.

  "Nocte"  finds  its  way  in  with  soft  acoustic  guitar  playing  and  you  can  also  hear  ambulance  sounds  towards  the  end  and  the  song  is  a  short  instrumental  after  2  minutes.

  "Winterburn"  which  is  also  the  last  song  on  the  album  begins  with  distorted  ambient  noises  and  programmed  drum b eats  before  adding  in  vocals  and  you  can  also  hear  synths  being  utilized  in  the  background.

  Turkey's  Unhappy  are  back  with  a  new  album  that  continues  their  experimental  and  depressive  approach  to  black  metal  with  the  recording  being  self  released  in  2013  and  called  "Salts  And  Wounds".

  "In  This  Cold  Loneliness"  which  is  also  the  first  song  on  the  album  opens  up  with   raw,  depressive  black  metal  guitar  riffs  and  drum  beats  and  you  can  also  hear  bass  guitars  in  the  background  which  leads  to  grim  screams  as  well  as  the  song  alternating  between  slow  and  fast  parts.

  "Ashes  to  Ashes,  Dust  to  Dust  (End  Of  Your  Story  Motherfucker)"  begins  with  acoustic  guitars  and  melodic  clean  singing  vocals  before  adding  in  heavy  guitar  riffs,  drums  beats  and  depressive  black  metal  screams  along  with  some  melodic  guitar  riffing   and  then  the  music  goes  into  a  faster  direction  before  alternating  between  slow  and  fast  parts.

  "Black  Soil"  opens  up  with  acoustic  guitars  before  adding  in  heavy  guitar  riffs  and  high  pitched  black  metal  screams  as  well  as  some  drum  beats  and  towards  the  end  there is  a  brief  use  of  spoken  word  parts.

  "Dolunca  Mezanna  Yagmur"  hits  it  off  with  dark  and  depressive  sounding  guitar  riffs  and  drum  beats  before  adding  in  grim  black  metal  screams  and  the  song  stays  in  a  slow  depressive  black  metal  direction  for  its  4  entire  minutes.

  "So  Cold  So  Dark"  makes  its  way  in  with  raw  and  dark  sounding  guitar  riffs  along  with  some  drum  beats  a  few  seconds  alter  which  also  leads  to  some  depressive  black  metal  vocals  and  halfway  through  the  song  the  guitar  riffing  gets  more  melodic.

  "Snowstorm"  is  introduced  with  nature  sounds  and  a  minute  later  raw  black  metal  guitar  riffs  come  in  along  with  some  depressive  screams  and  a  few  minutes  later  drum b eats  finally  start  kicking  in  for  a  few  seconds.

  "Whispers  Of  Suicide"  has  its  opening  with  acoustic  guitars  before  adding  in  heavy  guitar  riffs,  drum  beats and  grim  screams  a  few  seconds  later  along  with  a  small  amount  of  guitar  leads  and  the  song  sticks  to  a  slow  and  primitive  direction.

  "The  Sheltering  Sky(In  Memory  Of  Paul  Bowles)"  has  its  start  with  dark  sounding  ambient  synths  and  the  song  is  all  instrumental.

  "A  Beam  Of  Light,  An  Ominous  Winter  Night"  has  its  beginnings  with  dark  ambient  sounding  synths  and  the  song  is  another  atmospheric  instrumental.

  "The  Story  of  Two  Wolves"  finds  its  way  on  the  album  with  shamanistic  style  chanting  and  percussion  beats  and  a  few  seconds  later  raw  black  metal  guitar riffs  and  depressive  screams  start  to  kick  in  along  with  a  small  amount  of  drum  beats.

  "Anaal  Cockroach  (Jam  Iz  Christ)"  which  is  also  the  last  song  on  the  album  opens  up  with  spoken  word  samples and  a  few  seconds  later  drum  beats  and  distorted  guitar  riffs  start  to  make  their  way  into  the  song  along  with  a  small  amount  of  melodic  vocals  in  the  background  and  after  awhile  the  music  gets  slightly  faster  along  with  black  metal  vocals  that  are  mixed  down  low  in  the  mix.

  This  is  the  final  review  of  a  recording  from  Unhappy  which  continues  their  depressive  approach  to black  metal  that  was  featured  on  previous  recordings  with  the  album  being  called  "Aconitum"  which  was  self  released  in  the  year  of  2013.

  "And  Suicide  Is  Waiting  (Like  A  Vulture)"  which  is  also  the  first  song  on  the  album  opens  up  with    fast,  raw  and  primitive  lo-fi  black  metal  guitar  riffs and  drums  before  adding  in  grim  sounding  high  pitched  screams  as  well  as  slowing  down  a  bit  and  then  alternating  between  fast  and  slow  parts.

 "Simsiyah  Gokyuzu"  starts  up  with  fast,  raw  and  primitive  old  school  black  metal  guitar  riffs,  blast  beats  and  grim  sounding  high  pitched  depressive  screams  before  slowing  down  a  bit  and  then  alternating  between  slow  and  fast  parts.

  'Dead  Flowers"  begins  with  slow,  black  metal  guitar  riffs  and  drums  before  adding  in  some  melodic  clean  singing  vocals  and  a  very  seconds  alter  high  pitched  depressive  screams  start  to  kick  in  and  towards  the  end  there  is  a  brief  use  of  blast  beats.

  "Son  Nefes"  opens  up  with  heavy  guitar  riffs  and  drums  which  seem  to  take  an  old  school  black  metal  direction  along  with  some  depressive  screams  a  few  seconds later  and  a  minute  later  the  song  goes  into  a  faster  direction along  with  blast  beats.

  'Hatred"  kicks  in  with  fast,  raw  and  primitive  sounding  guitar  riffs,  drums  and  high  pitched  screams  and  a  few  seconds  later  the  music  goes  into  a  slower  direction  before  alternating  between  fast  and  slow  parts.

  "Tedirgin  Hep  Ruhum"  comes  in  with  slow  depressive  black  metal  guitar  riffs  and  drums  and  a  few  seconds  later  grim  screams  kick  in  and  the  music  stays  in  a  slow  direction  throughout  the  song.  

  "Cold,  Dark,  Miserable  World"  makes  its  way  in  with  heavy  guitar  riffs  and  drums  and  a  few  seconds  alter  deep  demonic  growls  kick  in  and  it  minute  later  it  speeds  up  a  bit  and  adds  in  some  black  metal  screams.

  "fuckyourgodfuckyoursatanfuckyourmohammedfuckyourjesusfuckingchristfuckyourmoses"  is  introduced  with  black  metal  screams  and  then  bass  guitars  and  blast  beats  from  the  drums  start  coming  in  as  well  as  death  metal  growls.

  "I  Dont  Want  To  Feel  Anything"  is  brought  in  with  spoken  word  parts  and  a  few  seconds  alter  old  school  black  metal  guitar  riffs,m  drums  and  high  pitched  screams  are  brought  in  along  wit h some  clean  singing  vocals  and  then  after  awhile  deep  death  metal  growls  are  added  into  the  song.

  This  is  a  review  of  a  split  album  between  Chile's  Blackvoid  and  Turkey's  Unhappy  called  "Born  To Suicide"  which  was  self  released  in  2013  and  we  will  start  the  review  with  Blackvoid  a  1  man  band  that  plays  a  very  depressive  form of  black  metal.

  "Bleak  December"  which  is  the  first  song  on  their  side  of  the  split  begins  with  dark  and  heavy  slow,  black  metal  guitar  riffs  and  drum  beats  and  a  few  seconds  later  grim  sounding  and  depressive  black  metal  screams  start  to  kick  in  along  with  some  melodic  guitar  riffing.

  "Ashes" opens  up  with  some  slow  black  guitar  riffs  and  drum  beats along  with  some  grim  screams  a  few  seconds  later  which  also  leads  to  some  dark  and  depressing  sounding  melodies  getting  added  to  the  guitar  riffing  and  the  song  sticks  to  a  slower  direction.  and  halfway  through  the  song  you  can  hear  some  clean  parts  being  mixed  in  with  the  heavier  parts.

  "A  Lonely  Journey  To  A  Great  Dark  Past"  begins  with  slow,  and  dark  melodic  guitar  riffs  along  with  some  drum  beats  which  also  leads  to  some  grim  black  metal  vocals  a  few  seconds  later  and  then  the  song  goes  into  a  more  heavier  and  depressive  direction.

  "Suicide  Is  A  Gift"  which  is  also  the  first  song  on  the  album  opens  up  with  fast,  raw  and  primitive  black  metal  guitar  riffs,  drum  beats  and  high  pitched  black  metal  screams  and after  a  minute  the  music  goes  into  a  more  mid  paced  direction  as  well  as  alternating  between  fast  and  mid  paced  parts  which  also  leads  to  some  slow  sections  and  towards  the  end  there  are  some  blast  beats  being  utilized.

  "Empty  Words, Loneliness  And  Screams"  begins  with  slow  depressive  black  metal  guitar  riffs  and  drums  before  adding  in  grim  sounding  screams  and  the  song  sticks  to  the  same  type  of  riffs  throughout  the  song.

  "Between  Suffer  And  Hopelessness"  opens  up  with  ambient  style  black  metal  guitars  riffs,  drums  and  depressive  screams  as  well  as  melodies  being  thrown  into  the  guitar  playing  and  towards  the end  the drums  speed  up  a  bit  and  add  in  blast  beats  while  the  guitars  stick  to  a  slower  direction.

 "I  Feel  Numb  And  Helpless"  kicks  in  with  soft  acoustic  guitar  playing  along  with  some  melodic  clean  singing  vocals  before  adding  in  drums  and  there  are  no  heavy  guitars  or  black  metal  vocals  being  present  on  this  song.  

  "Help  Me!"  hits  it  off  with  distorted  clean  guitar  playing,  drums  and  high  pitched,  grim  sounding  depressive  black  metal  screams  and  towards  the end  elements  of  noise  music  are  thrown  into  the  song.

  "i'm  So  Sick"  makes  it  way  in  with  heavy  drone  distortion  coming  form  guitar  amps  and  depressive  black  metal  vocals  which  also  lead  up  to  some  drum beats  and  a  minute  later t heir  is  a  brief  use  of  melodic  yet  sloppy  guitar  leads  as  well  as  a  brief  use  of  deep  demonic  growls.

  "Between  Uterus  And  The  Tomb(Our  Grand  Despair)"  begins  with  drone  style  guitar riffs along  with  some  depressive  black  metal  screams  and  you  can  hear  dark  ambient  sounds  being  utilized  in  the  background.
