Caveman Cult/Blood And Extinction/Nuclear War Now! Productions/2021 CD Review

Miami,  Florida's  Caveman  Cult  has  retuned  with  a  new  recording  which  continues  the  bestial  mixture  of  war,  black  and  death  metal  from  their  previous  releases  and  this  is  a  review  of  their  2021  album  "Blood  And  Extinction"  which  will  be  released  in  October  by  Nuclear  War  Now!  Productions.

A  very  distorted  sound  starts  off  the  album  before  going  into  a  very  fast,  raw  and  brutal  war  metal  direction  which  also  utilizes  a  great  amount  of  tremolo  picking  and  blast  beats.  Vocals  are  mostly  bestial  growls  while  black  metal  screams  can  also  be  heard  at  times  and  the  solos  and  leads  are  also  done  in  a  very  chaotic  style.

Most  of  the  music  is  also  very  heavily  rooted  in  an  old  school  style  while  a  great  portion  of  the  tracks  are  also  very  short  in  length.  All  of  the  musical  instruments  also  have  a  very  powerful  sound  to  them  along  with  all  of  the  riffing  being  done  on  power  chords  as  well  as  all  of  the  music  sticking  to  a  very  fast,  raw  and  brutal  sound.

On  this  recording  Caveman  Cult  remain  true  to  the  bestial  mixture  of  war,  black  and  death  emtal  from  their  previous  releases.  The  production  sounds  very  dark  and  raw  while  the  lyrics  cover  savagery,  barbarity  and  warfare  themes.

In  my  opinion  this  is  another  great  sounding  recording  from  Caveman  Cult  and  if  you  are  a  fan  of  war,  bestial  black  and  death  metal,  you  should  check  out  this  album.  RECOMMENDED  TRACKS  INCLUDE  "Blood  And  Extinction"  "Violencia  Arraigada"  "Putrid  Earth"  and  "Bestial  Carnage".  8  out  of  10.

Caveman Cult/Supremacia Primordial/Larval Productions/2018 10 Inch Review

Miami,  Florida's  Caveman  Cult  have  returned  with  a  new  recording  which  continues  their  bestial  mixture  of  war,  black  and  death  metal  and  this  is  a  review  of  their  2018  ep  "Supremacia  Primordial"  which  was  released  by  Larval  Productions.

A  very  fast,  raw  and  brutal  war  metal  sound  starts  off  the  album  along  with  some  black  metal  screams  a  few  seconds  later  while  the  riffs  also  use  a  great  amount  of  tremolo  picking  along  with  the  vocals  also  bringing  in  bestial  growls  at  times  which  also  adds  in  a  touch  of  death  metal.

When  guitar  solos  and  leads  are  utilized  they  are  done  in  a  very  raw  and  chaotic  fashion  while  the  music  is  also  very  heavily  rooted  in  the  90;'s  but  modern  at  the  same  time  as  well  as  the  music  also  slowing  down  briefly  at  times  before  returning  back  to  a  faster direction  and  the  music  always  remains  heavy.

Caveman  Cult  creates  another  recording  that  remains  true  to  their  bestial  mixture  of  war,  black  and  death  metal,  the  production  sounds  very  dark  and  raw  while  the lyrics  cover  savagery,  barbarity  and  warfare  themes.

In  my  opinion  this  is  another  great  sounding  recording  from  Caveman  Cult  and  if  you  are  a  fan  of  bestial  black/death  and  war  metal,  you  should  check  out  this  ep.  RECOMMENDED  TRACKS  INCLUDE  "Impaled  Humanity  Ablaze"  and  "Legions  Of  The  Black  Vomit".  8  out  of  10.

Caveman Cult/Savage War is Destiny/Wohrt Records/2016 Cassette Review

Caveman  Cult  are  a band  from  Miami,  Florida  that  has  been  featured  before  in  this  zine  and  plays  a  bestial  form  of  black/death  metal  and  this  is  a  review  of  their  2016  album  "Savage  War  Is  Destiny"  which  was  released  on  cassette  by  Wohrt  Records.

Electronic  noises  start  off the  album  and  after  the  intro  the  music  goes  into  a  very  fast  and  raw  war  metal  direction  along  with  a  great  amount  of  blast  beats  and  high  pitched  black  metal  screams  and  the  music  also  brings  in  a  lot  of  90's  influences  along  with a   great  mixture  of  slow,  mid paced  and  fast  parts.

All  of  the  musical  instruments  on  the  recording  have  a  very  powerful  sound  to  them  and  you  can  also h ear  a  great  amount  of  death  metal  elements  throughout  the  recording  and  the  fast  riffs  also  use  a  great  amount  of  tremolo  picking  and  one  of  the  songs  brings  in  a  brief use   of  guitar solos  or  leads  and  also  avoids  using  any  melodies  to  focus  more  on  a  very  raw  yet  brutal  style.

Caveman  Cult  creates another  recording  that  remains  to  the  the  bestial  black/war  metal  sound  of  their  previous  release,  the  production  sounds  very  dark  and  raw  while  the  lyrics  cover  savagery,  barbarity,  and  warfare  themes.

Caveman Cult/Rituals Of Savagery/Wohrt Records/2015 Cassette Review

Caveman  Cult  are  a  band  from  Florida  that  plays  a  mixture  of  black,  war  and  death  metal  and  this  is  a  review  of  their  2015 cassette  "Rituals  Of  Savagery"  which  will  be  released  on  February  9th  by  Wohrt  Records.

A  very  dark  and  distorted  sound  starts  off  the  cassette  before  going  into  a  very  fast,  raw  and  brutal  war  metal  direction  along  with  a  good  amount  of  blast  beats,  high  pitched  screams  and  bestial  growls  and  the  music  also  brings  in  a  good  mixture  of  slow,  mid  paced  and  fast  parts  and  the  songs  have  a  vintage  90's  feeling  to  them  at  times.

The  slower  sections  bring  in  a  great  amount  of  death  metal  influences  into  the  bands  musical  style  and  the  songs  all  bring  in  a  great  amount  of  heaviness  that  is  rarely  heard  these  days  as  well  as  showing  a  great  amount  of  Canadian  and  Australian  war  metal  influences  and  the  music  is  very  raw,  heavy  and  brutal  from  beginning  to  end  with  no  clean  or  soft  parts  ever  being  utilized  and  all  of  the  musical  instruments  have  a  very  powerful  sound  to  them.

Caveman  Cult  plays  a  style  of  war  metal  that  is  very  heavily  rooted  in  the  90's  while  also  having  a  great  amount  of  old  school  black  and  death  metal  elements  and  this  cassette  is  probably  the  heaviest  thing  released  in  months,  the  production  sounds  very  raw  and  heavy  while  the  lyrics  cover  savage,  barbaric  and  violent  themes.

In  my  opinion  Caveman  Cult  are  a  very  great  sounding  mixture  of  war,  black  and  death  metal  and  if  you  are  a  fan  of  this  musical  genre,  you  should  check  out  this  band.  RECOMMENDED  TRACKS  INCLUDE  "Savage  Rites"  and  "Sacred  Burial  Desecration".  8  out  of  10.
