Bokkerijders/Crush Kill Destroy/Personal Records/2026 Full Length Review

  Bokkerijders  are  a  band  from  Belgium  that  plays  a  very  raw  form  of  black  metal  with  elements  of  thrash  metal  and  this  is  a  review  of  their  2026  album  "Crush  Kill  Destroy"  which  will  be  released  in  October  by  Personal  Records.

  A  very  heavy  thrash  metal  influenced  sound  starts  off  the  album  while  the  faster  sections  of  the  songs  also  add  in  a  decent  amount  of  blast  beats.  Vocals  are  mostly  high  pitched  black  metal  screams  along  with  the  tremolo  picking  in  the  fast  riffing  also  giving  the  music  more  of  a  raw  feeling  and  you  can  also  hear  all  of  the  musical instruments  that  are  present  on  the  recording.

  Melodies  are  also  added  into  some  of  the  guitar  riffing  while  the  solos  and  leads  also  stick  to  more  of  an  old  school  yet  melodic  style.  A  great  portion  of  the  tracks  are  also  very  long  and  epic  in  length  along  with  a  couple  of  songs  also  adding  in  a  small  amount  of  clean  playing  and  synths.

  Bokkerijders  plays  a  musical  style  that  takes  a  very  raw  form  of  black  metal  and  mixes  it  with  thrash  metal  to  create  a  sound  of  their  own.  The  production  sounds  very  professional  while  the  lyrics  cover  dark  and  violent  themes.

  In  my  opinion  Bokkerijders  are  a  very  great  sounding  raw  mixture  of  black  and  thrash  metal  and  if  you  are  a  fan  of  those  musical  genres,  you  should  check  out  this  band.  RECOMMENDED  TRACKS  INCLUDE  "Ashen  Scream"  "Primordial  Phosphorus  Eclipse"  and  "Fire  Chaser".  8  out  of  10.

Myhrding/Echoes From The Past/Downfall Records/2026 EP Review

 

  Myhrding  are  a  band  from  Sweden  that  plays  a  very  raw,  atmospheric,  melodic  and  old  school  form  of  black  metal  and  this  is  a  review  of  their  2026  ep  "Echoes  From  The  past"  which  will  be  released  on  September  25th b y  Downfall  Records.

  A  very  heavy  yet  melodic  sound  starts  off  the  ep  while  you  can  also  hear  all  of  the  musical  instruments  that  are  present  on  the  recording.  Vocals  are  mostly  high  pitched  black  metal  screams  along  with  the  music  also  being  very  heavily  rooted  in  the  classic  Swedish  style  and  growls  are  also  used  at  times.

  When  guitar  solos  and  leads  are  utilized  they  are  done  in  a  very  melodic  style  while  the  faster  sections  of  the  songs  also  add  in  a  decent  amount  of  tremolo  picking  and  blast  beats  which  also  gives  the  recording  more  of  a  raw  feeling.  The  ep  also  has  its  atmospheric  moments  and  most  of t he  tracks  stick  to a   mid  tempo  direction.

  Myhrding  plays  a  style  of  black  emtal  that  is  very  raw,  melodic  and  atmospheric  in  the  90's  Nordic  tradition.  The  production  sounds  very  raw  and  old  school  while  the  lyrics  are  written  in  a  mixture  of  English  and  Swedish  and  cover  Swedish  History,  Folklore,  Anger,  Sorrow  and  Melancholy     

  In  my  opinion  Myhrding  are  a  very  great  sounding  raw,  atmospheric,  melodic  and  old  school  black  metal  band  and  if  you  are  a  fan  of  this  musical  genre,  you  should  check  out  this  ep.  RECOMMENDED  TRACKS  INCLUDE  "The  Genesis  Of  Death"  and  "Ruins  of  mankind".  8  out  of  10.

Oscura Metrica/Obnubilatio Psychasthenica/2026 Full length Review

  Oscura  Metrica  are  a  solo  project  from  Italy  that  plats  a  very  raw  and  atmospheric  form  of  black  metal  and  this  is  a  review  of  his  self  released  2026  album  "Obnubilaatio  Psychasthenica".

  Melodic  guitar solos  and  leads  start  off  the  album  while  the  vocals  are  mostly  high  pitched  black  metal  screams  mixed  in  with  a  few  growls.  Melodies  are  also  added  into  some  of  the  guitar  riffing  and  when  the  music  speeds  up  a  great  amount  of  tremolo  picking  and  blast b eats  can  be  heard  which  also  gives  the  recording  more  of  a  raw  feeling. 

  Throughout  the  album  you  can  also  hear  a  good  mixture  of  slow,  mid  paced  and  fast  parts  while  all  of  the  musical  instruments  also  have  a  very  powerful  sound  to  them.  Acoustic  guitars  and  clean  plating  can  also  be  heard  at  times  along  with  the  synths  also  adding  in  some  atmospheric  touches  when  they  are  utilized  and  a  couple  of  the  tracks  are  also  very  long  and  epic  in  length.

  Oscura  Metrica  plays  a  style  of  black  metal  that  is  very  modern,  raw  and  atmospheric  sounding.  The  production  sounds  very  dark  and  raw  while  the  lyrics  are  written  in  Italian  and  cover  sicientific  themes.  

  In  my  opinion  Oscura  Metrica  are  a  very  great  sounding  raw  and  atmospheric  black  metal  solo  project  and  if  you  are  a  fan  of  this  musical  genre,  you  should  check  out  this  recording.  RECOMMENDED  TRACKS  INCLUDE  "Godel"  and  "Oscura  Metrica".  8 out  of  10.

Snaga Interview

 1.For those that have never heard of you before, can you tell us a little bit about the solo project?

Absolutely. Snaga came about from a deep need to create something that I could pour my musical and artistic interests into, while also becoming a mirror held up to myself and the society that I live in over time. 

The first demo, “Where Torches Fear to Cast a Flame,” was more or less an exercise in learning how to record and mix black metal. It’s extremely raw, unprofessional, and painfully noisy in its production. I love it. It represents a start of something, and I feel a growing fondness for it.

During the writing process of my first EP, “NO SHAME/NO HOPE,” I found myself in a very depressive state. The state of the world, and the people who inhabit it, began to feel like a satire of humanity in so many ways. In coping with this, Snaga became more than making songs about horror and mysticism. Although there are songs on that EP and the following one that deal with the fantastical, it is counterbalanced by the things in our own world that both terrify and disgust me.

2.A few months back you released a new ep, musically how does it differ from the stuff you have released in the past?

Musically, I feel like it is really a continuation of the style found on “NO SHAME/NO HOPE.” A lot of the same lyrical themes are there, as well as a barrage of tremolo-picking, harsh noise, and vocal effects. The biggest departure would be the title track. I have never made a song that pushed the 10-minute mark before. 

3.Some of your lyrics cover the writings of Robert E. Howard, can you tell us a little bit more about your interst in his work?

I have always had a deep fondness for old dark fantasy and horror. Robert E. Howard wrote stories that feel similar to that of H.P. Lovecraft. While the protagonists in Lovecraft’s work often spiraled into madness while dealing with unknowable horrors, Howard’s character Conan had a much much blunt solution at times: stick it with a broadsword.

And while that is not a philosophy I tend to follow in my day to day life, it does make for a good read. 

The world that Conan lives in has the feel of a very, ancient and forgotten past. I can’t help but be inspired to make music about forgotten, moss-covered ziggurats filled with horrors from a bygone age. I feel like it is a perfect backdrop for this genre.

4.What are some of the other lyrical topics and subjects you have explore so far with the music?

When I am not writing about the fantastical, my lyrics tend to land on a deep cynicism involving humanity. It feels like every year we trust less and hate more. I can’t help but feel like there are people who are profiting off of creating a severe discordance within us. Technology is advancing so rapidly that our brains cannot keep up with it, and it seems like for all the good it can do, it has also changed the way our brains work drastically. There is a severe lack of empathy these days, and many people seem to forget that people are real, not just ephemeral objects to be ridiculed online.

To quote John Carpenter’s masterpiece, “The Thing,” - “Nobody trusts anybody now, and we’re all very tired.”

5.What is the meaning and inspiration behind the name 'Snaga'?

Upon making a black metal project, I went the tried-and-true (and cliche) route of giving it a named derived from Tolkien’s work. I understand that has been done endlessly, but I view the name as a nod of respect to the genre’s roots.

In the Orc’s language, Snaga means “thrall” or “servant”. This latest EP opens with the song “Algorithmic Thralldom,” which is fitting. 

6.Can you tell us a little bit more about the artwork that is presented on the new ep cover?

It is piece of art called “Morella” by Harry Clarke from 1919. It was used in the publication “Tales of Mystery and Imagination” for the Poe story of the same name. 

I love looking at old, public-domain pieces of art. It’s like finding forgotten relics, buried in time. Stumbling across this piece, I was immediately taken by both the intricate beauty and underlying melancholy  portrayed in it. I found its aura perfect for the music that I was creating at the time. 

7.With this project you record everything by yourself, are you open to working with other musicians or do you prefer to work solo?

There is only one other person I would ever feel comfortable with in helping to create something under the Snaga name. We had previously worked together for years on a different project, and I was always amazed by his capability to write and play drums. I would approach his with a song, having my own idea of a drum part in my head, and he would absolutely subvert my expectations in the best of ways.

Fortunately, him and I are in talks about him getting on board with this project, and I truly hope I will have his expertise on all future releases. 

Snaga is something I am very protective of, but if anyone could tap into the vision and expand upon my ideas, it’s him. 

8.Currently you are unsigned, are you looking for a label or have received any interest?

I have always been a fan of the DIY aspect when it comes to creating music. I don’t mind being self produced and without a label. It allows me to take my time and create the art that I truly want to make without any unwanted outside influence.

If I did sign to a label, it would have to be small and independent. I have no desire to try to appeal to a larger audience while sacrificing my vision. 

9.On a worldwide level how has the reaction been to your music by fans of black metal?

I have received emails from a few fans across the world, and I am still shocked that it reached them, let alone that they enjoyed it. I never expected anyone to hear this music, especially in places so far from home.

Most of the reaction seems to be positive, but there have been a few negative ones. Both are fine! I would be worried if every black metal fan unanimously liked Snaga. Any negative responses that I read or hear are always fully welcomed. I’m glad that it made you feel something!

10.Are you also involved with any other bands or musical projects?

I am currently in another musical project as well as many past ones. However, I am trying to keep this project as anonymous as I can in this day and age, so I will respectfully pass on commenting about them for now.

11.When can we expect a full length and also where do you see yourself heading into as a musician during the future?

I am in the writing process of what I hope turns out to be a full length album. My work-life starts slowing down in the winter time, and that gives me a lot more time and space to write and record. 

I am hoping for an early 2027 release near the end of winter.

As to where I see myself heading as a musician? Hard to say, as I never even expected to be here as one! It is my hope that I will continue this project as long as I am able to, and that there will always be a few people in this world happy to hear it.

12.What are some of the bands or musical styles that have had an influence on your music and also what are you listening to nowadays?

Enslaved and Paysage d’Hiver are always fountains of inspiration for me. Enslaved with their ability to put out consistently great releases, and Paysage for having the ability to put me in a meditative trance while listening. 

Currently, a lot of dungeon synth is in my rotation. Mortiis, Radagast, and Warlock Corpse have pretty much been a constant during my quiet hour reading and contemplating these days.

Ulver’s “Lyckantropen Themes” also deserves a shout out. That is a perfect ambient album, in my eyes.

  A  very  dark  yet  heavy  sound  starts  off  the  album  while  you  can  also  hear  all  of  the  musical  instruments  that  are  present  on  the  recording.  Vocals  are  mostly  grim  sounding  black  metal  screams  along  with  the  slower  sections  of  the  music  adding  in  elements  of  doom  metal  and  melodies  are  also added  into  some  of  the  guitar  riffing.

  Dark  sounding  synths  start  off  the  album  along  with  some  drum  beats  a  few  seconds  later  before  going  into  a  heavier  direction.  Elements  of  punk  can  also  be  heard  in  some  of  the  guitar  riffing  while  the  vocals  are  mostly  high  pitched  black  metal  screams  and  blast  beats  are  added  into  the  faster  sections  of  the  songs.

  When  tremolo  picking  is  added  into  the  fast  riffing  they  give  the  album  more  of  a  raw  feeling  while  the  music  is  very  heavily  rooted  in  the  old  school  era  of  the  genre.  Throughout  the  recording  you  can  also  hear  a  good  mixture  of  slow,  mid  paced  and  fast  parts  along  with  some  of  the  riffs  also  adding  in  a  small  amount  of  melody  as  well  as  the  guitar  leads  adding  in a   more  aggressive  style  when  they  are  utilized  

  Otras  plays  a  style  of  black  metal  that  is  very  raw  and  aggressive  sounding  in  the  old  school  tradition  as  well as  adding  in  elements  of  punk  to  create  a  sound  of  their  own.  The  production  sounds  very  raw  and  heavy  while  the  are  written  in  Slovakian  and  cover  the  obliteration  of  mankind.

  In  my  opinion  Otras  are  a  very  great  sounding  raw  and  old  school  black  metal  band  and  if  you  are  a  fan  of  this  musical  genre,  you  should  check  out  this  album.  RECOMMENDED  TRACKS  INCLUDE  "Krize"  and  "Kosti  Mrtvych  Neradno  Obracat'.  8  out  of  10.

   A  very  distorted  sound  starts  off  the  ep  before  going  into  a  very  fast  and  raw  musical  direction  which  also  utilizes  a  great  amount  of  tremolo  picking  and  blast  beats.  Vocals  are  mostly  high  pitched  black  metal  screams  while  the  guitar  riffing  also  mixes  in  a  small  amount  of  melody.

  A  lot  of  the  music  also  shows  an  old  school  influence  while  electronic  sounds  are  also  added  into  the  background  briefly.  Most  of  the  recording  sticks  to  either  a  fast  or  mid  tempo  direction  and  the  closing  track  is  done  in  more  of  a  slower  style  as  well  as  being  very  long  and  epic  in  length  and  adds  in a   brief  use  of  solos  and  leads.

  Germany's  Nocturnis  have  returned  with  a  new  recording  which  shows  the  music  going  for  a  raw,  atmospheric  and  melodic  form  of  black  metal  and  this  is  a  review  of  their  2026  album  "Drangsal"  which  will  be  released  in  November b y  Fetzer  Death  Records.

  Keyboards  start  off  the  album  before  going  into  a  heavier  direction  while  the  solos  and  leads  are  also  done  in  a  very  melodic  style.  When  the  music  speeds  up  a  great  amount  of  blast  beats  can be  heard  along  with  the  vocals  also  being mostly  high  pitched  black  metal  screams  and  the  music  also  gets  very  technical  sounding  at  times.    

  All  of  the  musical  instruments  also  have  a  very  powerful  sound  to  them  while  growls  can  also  be  heard  briefly.  Throughout  the  album  you  can  also  hear  a  good  mixture  of  slow,  mid  paced  and  fast  parts  along  with  some  tracks  also  adding  in  a  small  amount  of  clear  singing  and  the  recording  also  has  its  atmospheric  moments.

  A  very  powerful  bass  guitar  starts  off  the  ep  before  going  into  more  of a  punk  and  deathrock  influenced  style.  Vocals  are  mostly  high  pitched  black  metal  screams  while  the  faster  sections  of  the  songs  also  add  in  a  great  amount  of  tremolo  picking  and  blast  beats  which  also  gives  the  music  more  of  a  raw  feeling.

  Elements  of  hardcore  are  also  utilized  at  times  while  the  solos  and  leads  are  done  in  a  very  melodic  style.  Shouts  are  also  added  into  certain  sections  of  the  recording  along  with  the  ep  also  adding  in  a  good  mixture  of  slow,  mid  paced  and  fast  parts  and  the  riffs  also  bring  in  a  great  amount  of  melody,  clean  playing  is  also  added  towards  the  end.

  In  my  opinion  Funeral  are  a  very  great  sounding  raw  and  melodic  mixture  of  black  metal,  punk,  hardcore  and  deathrock  and  if  you  are  a  fan  of  those  musical  genres,  you  should  check  out  this  band.  RECOMMENDED  TRACKS  INCLUDE  "Averno"  and  "El  Enteirro".  8  out  of  10.

Kafir Interview

1.Can you give us an update on what has been going on with the solo project since the recording of the new album?

The creative process never ends. While working on my second album, I was already working on the music videos. My third album is already in the works. I have more than enough ideas, but it all takes a lot of time and energy.

2.You have a new album coming out in September, musically how does it differ from your previous full length?

In terms of content, the new album follows on from the first one. It continues to focus on criticism and contempt for religion—especially Islam—but also, once again, on myself, my personal experiences, thoughts, and view of life.

Musically, I’ve developed further. the entire sound and my guitar playing have improved. Overall, I’m very satisfied with the album.

3.A lot of your lyrics cover Anti Islam themes, can you tell us a little bit more about your hatred in the religion?

I have always rejected religion, and Islam is currently the greatest threat to Western values. If we continue to tolerate it, it will spread like a cancer. The more I research the subject and read the Quran, the greater my contempt becomes. When you look at the countries that have already been taken over by Islam, you see clear parallels to other forms of dictatorship. Most people don’t realize that it’s more than just a religion. It’s a political system, and its representatives make no secret of that. Unfortunately, the Western world’s tolerance and stupidity are too great for it to consistently oppose this movement. When you study the history of other countries and talk to people from there, you quickly realize the direction we’re heading in here.

4.In black metal a lot of bands have covered their hatred from Christianity but receive a huge backlash for attacking Islam and also get cancelled on social media platforms and have their shows cancelled, has this project received the same backlash despite being based in the Middle East?

First of all, I’m not from the Middle East, and I’ve never even been there. When I started this project, I knew exactly what I was getting myself into, but I won’t let anything stop me. You must never let fear keep you from speaking the truth and let this religion win! The problems online haven’t been that big so far; the criticism, of course, comes mainly from some stupid Muslims, but you can’t take that seriously. It’s clear that you can’t put on concerts with music like this. No promoter would take the risk of an attack or having to deal with some Antifa idiots. But since I’m a one-man band anyway, I can’t play concerts.

5.I know that the bands name means 'infidel', how does this name fit in with the musical style that you play?

There’s probably no better name to convey my message. It not only reflects my own rejection of Islam, but also defines me as the enemy in the eyes of the faithful. And if you’re familiar with the Quran, you know exactly what’s supposed to happen to the kuffar.

6.Can you tell us a little bit more about the artwork that is presented on the new album cover?

The photo for the new cover was taken at an abandoned coal mine, where I also filmed footage for the fifth music video. It was a very hot and exhausting day, as my cameraman and I had to carry kilos of internal organs and equipment to the location. The cover shows me praying on a prayer rug, surrounded by pages from the Quran, blood, tar, and organs.

The Quranic verses on the wall were added during post-production. The cover is symbolic of the album title, which represents impurity.

7.With this project you record everything by yourself, would you be open to working with musicians depending on the circumstances or do you prefer to work solo?

I do prefer working alone, since that way I can bring my own ideas to life without having to compromise. In general, I’d be open to collaborating on tracks if the opportunity is right.

There’s a bonus track on the new album that I made with Manāt. She’s a very good singer, so I played the music, wrote the lyrics, and she recorded her vocals and sent them to me. I really like the track, and I could imagine doing similar collaborations in the future.

But I find it hard to imagine playing in a band on a permanent basis, since I’d have to rely on others.

8.Can you tell us a little bit more about the mask you wear in the promo pics?

I make all the masks in the pictures and videos, as well as the props, myself. My main costume, which appears repeatedly, is based on Muslim clothing with a kind of mummy bandage as a mask. I welded my pendant myself. In “I Hate,” I wear a splatter mask like the ones used in World War I. In “Burn the Pages of the Quran,” I wear clothing inspired by Hezbollah. In “Fitna,” I wear a devil mask; the woman in the video wears a Muslim wedding dress with a hijab until she switches to the devil mask in the second half.

I share the scarecrow mask in “An Act of Defiance Against That Which Is Pure” with one of my friends, who tortures and stones me in the video.

There will also be new outfits in the upcoming videos.

9.The new album is going to be released on 'Satanath Records', how would you compare working with this label to your previous label 'Trench Warfare Productions'?

I like the guy behind Trench Warfare Productions because he’s very motivated and does it all out of conviction and passion. Satanath Records, of course, has the advantage of being a large label with a strong international network and an international merch shop—I keep getting messages from fans all over the world asking where they can buy CDs and T-shirts. Since I don’t want to deal with that kind of thing, it’s better to have people with experience handle it. I’m also glad that Satanath Records doesn’t try to dictate anything to me and that I can continue doing my own thing the way I want.

10.On a worldwide level how has the reaction been to your music by fans of black metal?

The response has been surprisingly positive. When I started the project, I didn’t expect this much support. At first, I thought I was making music for people like me—people who see Western values as threatened by Islam and are tired of seeing this religion spread even further. But I get the most messages from fans in predominantly Muslim countries. Young fans who suffer under the social and family constraints of religion and see me as a voice for their own thoughts. They ask me for advice and are grateful for what I say. People from Iran who have suffered their entire lives under Islam’s dictatorial regime of terror. People who are brave enough to take to the streets, fight for their freedom, and risk being shot by a cowardly government! When I receive messages from Iranians who can no longer reach their loved ones and send me photos showing bullet holes in buildings and blood on the streets, let someone try to tell me that my criticism isn’t justified in any way!

11.Where do you see yourself heading into as a musician during the future?

I’m going to keep doing exactly what I’ve been doing. I’ll keep getting better, producing music and videos—the third album is already in the works. I think that in the future I’ll be able to connect more deeply with people who think similarly. Maybe I’ll find a way to involve the Black Metal scene from the Middle East more closely with the West, so that people realize that Islam is rejected everywhere and must be fought against.

12.What are some of the bands or musical styles that you are currently listening to nowadays?

Oh, there are so many bands that I really like. It all started for me with Gorgoroth. My absolute favorite band is still Mgla—they play to perfection.

I really enjoy listening to Nornir, Windswept, Batushka, Patriarkh, Lömsk, Vspolokh, Lebenssucht, Doodswens, Theotoxin, Houle, Akhlys, Animal Man Machine... and of course the classics like Mayhem, Burzum, Marduk, Nargaroth, Darkenend, Nocturn Slaughtercult... and I love going to concerts. My last concert was Kokeshi in Tokyo.

  Sweden's  solo  project  Tårfödd  has  returned  with  a  new  recording  which  shows  the  music  going  for  a  raw  and  atmospheric  style  of  depressive  black  metal  and  this  is  a  review  of  his  2026  album  "En  Känsla  Av  Hopplöshet"  which  will  be  released  in  September  by  Purity  Through  Fire.

  Acoustic  guitars  which  also  return  on  later  tracks  start  off  the  album  while  a  great  portion  of  the  songs  are  also  very  long  and  epic  in  length.  When  guitar  solos  and  leads  are  utilized  they  are  also  done  in  a  very  melodic  style  and  when  the  music  speeds  up a   great  amount  of  tremolo  picking  and  blast b eats  can  be  heard  which  also  gives  the  recording  more  of  a  raw  feeling.

  Vocals  are  mostly  high  pitched  black  metal  screams  while  the  album  also  adds  in  a  good  mixture  of  slow,  mid  paced  and  fast  parts.  All  of  the  musical  instruments  also  have  a  very  powerful  sound  to  them  along  with  the  music  also  having  its  atmospheric  moments  as  well  as  the  riffs  also  adding  in  a  decent  amount  of  melody.  Clear  singing  can  also  be  heard  on  a  couple of  tracks  and  one  song  also  adds  in  a  brief  use  of  growls,  all  of  the  drum  beats  are  also  programmed.  

  On  this  recording  Tårfödd  takes  his  atmospheric  and  depressive  style  of  black  metal  into  more  of  a  rawer  and  aggressive  direction.  The  production  sounds  very  dark  and  raw while  the  lyrics  are  written  in  a  mixture  of  Swedish  and  English  and  cover  melancholy,  depression  and  darkness  themes.

  In  my  opinion  this  is  another  great  sounding  recording  from  Tårfödd  and  if  you  are  a  fan  of  raw,  atmospheric  and  depressive  black  metal,  you  should  check  out  this  album.  RECOMMENDED  TRACKS  INCLUDE  "A  Dark  Cloudy  Dream"  and  "Never  Goes  Away".  8  out  of  10.

  Norway's  Uburen  have  returned  with  a  new  recording  which  continues  the  viking  style  of  black  emtal  from  previous  releases  and  this  is  a  review  of  their  2026  album  "Dødsdans  I  Aske"  which  will  be  released  in  September  by  Dusktone.

  A  very  dark  yet  heavy  sound  starts  off  the  album  before  going  into  a  very  fast  and  raw  musical  direction  which  also  utilizes  a  great  amount  of  tremolo  picking  and  blast  beats.  Vocals  are  mostly  high  pitched  black  metal  screams  while  the  music  is  also  very  heavily  rooted  in t he  old  school  era  of  the  genre.

  Throughout  the  album  you  can  also  hear  a  good  mixture  of  slow,  mid  paced  and  fast  parts  while  melodies  are  also  added  into  some  of  the  guitar  riffing.  All  of  the  musical  instruments  also  have  a  very  powerful  sound  to  them  along  with  one  track  also  adding  in a   brief  use  of  clear  pagan  vocals  and  the  whole  recording  also  sticks  to a   heavier  direction, chants  can  also  be  heard  briefly.

  On  this  recording  Uburen  brings  out  a  very  raw  and  aggressive  style  of  viking black  metal.  The  production  sounds  very  professional  while  the  lyrics  are  written  in a  mixture  of  English  and  Norwegian  and  cover  Norse  Mythology  and  Vikings.

  In  my  opinion  this  is  another  great  sounding  from  Uburen  and  if  you  are  a  fan  of  viking  black  metal,  you  should  check  out  this  album.  RECOMMENDED  TRACKS  INCLUDE  "I  Seek  Death"  "Formed  By  Time"  and  "Light  my  pyre".  8  out  of  10.

  Bach't  de  Vulle  Moane  are  a  duo  from  Belgium  that  has  bene  featured  before  in  this  zine  and  on  this  recording  plays  a  very  raw  mixture  of  black  metal  and  indsutrial  and  this  is  a  review  of  their  2026  album  "Verdwazing  Der  Dwazen"  which  will  be  released  in  September  as  a  joint  effort  between  Into  Endless  Chaos  and  De  Pankraker  Records.

  Electronic  music  sounds  start  off  the  album  and  also  mixes  in  with  the  heavier  sections  of  the  songs  at  times.  A  great  portion  of  the  tracks  are  also  very  long  and  epic  in  length  along  with  the  vocals  bringing  in  an angry  black  metal  style  mixed  in  with  a  few  growls  and  dark  sounding  melodies  are  also  added  into  some  of  the  guitar  riffing.

  Elements  of  industrial  are  also  utilized  at  times  while  the  faster  sections  of  the  album  also  add  in  decent  amount  of  blast  beats.  Synths  are  also  used  at  times  along  with  the  recording  also  adding  in  a  good  mixture  of  slow,  mid  paced  and  fast  parts.   Spoken  words  can  also  be  heard  briefly  and  when  tremolo  picking  is  added  into  the  fast  riffing  they  also  give  the  music  more  of  a  raw  feeling.  as  well  as  some  tracks  also  adding  in  a  small  amount  of  guitar  solos  and  leads,  harsh  noises  are  also  added  towards  the  end.

  On  this  recording  Bach't  de  Vulle  Maoane  continues  to  expand  on  the  mixture  of  industrial  and  black  metal  that  they  introduced  on  their  previous  release.  The  production  sounds  very  dark  and  raw  while  the  lyrics  are  written  in t he  band  members  native  tongue  and  cover  humanity's  relentless  degradation.

  Clean  playing  can  also  be  heard  briefly  while  the  faster  sections  of  the  album  also  add  in  a  great  amount  of  tremolo  picking  and  blast  beats  which  also  gives  the  music  more  of  a  raw  feeling.  When  guitar  solos  and  leads  are  utilized  they  are  done  in  more  of  a  darker  style  along  with  the  recording  also  adding  in  a  good  mixture  of  slow,  mid  paced  and  fast  parts.  All  of  the  tracks  are  also  very  long  and  epic  in  length  and  melodies  are  also  added  into  some  of  the  guitar  riffing,  the  closing  track  is  also  an  ambient  orientated  instrumental.
