Die Entweihung/Worldwide Terror/Morbid And Miserable Records/Southern Soundclash Records/Tikoes Kecemplorng Productions/2026 Full Length Review

Israel's  solo  project  Die  Entweihung  has  returned  with  a  new  recording  which  shows  the  music  going  for  a  very  progressive  and  blackened  form  of  thrash  metal  and  this  is  a  review  of  his  2026  album  "Worldwide  Terror"  which  will b e  released  in  August  as  a  joint  effort  between  Morbid  And  Miserable,  Sothern  Soundclash  Records  and  Tikoes  Kecemplring  Productions.

A  very  heavy  and  melodic  thrash  metal  sound  starts  off  the  album  while  you  can  also  hear  all  of  the  musical  instruments  that  are  present  on  the  recording.  Vocals  are  done  in  more  of  a  clear  traditional/power  metal  style  along  with  the  music  being  rooted  in  the  80's  but  modern  at  the  same  times.

Saxophones.  cellos  and  violins  are  also  utilized  at  times  while  the  riffs  also  add  in  a  decent  amount  of  melody.  When  guitar  solos  and  leads  are  utilized  they  are  also  done  in  a  very  melodic  style  along  with  the  music  also  adding  in  elements  of  first  wave  black  metal  as  well  as  the  album  also  having  its  progressive  moments.  A  couple  of  tracks  are  also  instrumentals  and  on  some  tracks  the  vocals  go  into  more  of  an  aggressive  direction  and  the  closing  song  also  adds  in  a  small  amount  of  clean  playing  and  blast  beats.

On  this  recording  Die  Entweihung  goes  for  more  of  a  mixture  of  thrash,  power,  heavy,  black  and  progressive  metal  which  is  also  very  different  from  his  previous  releases.  the  production  sounds  very  professional  while  the  lyrics  cover  social  issues  and  political  themes.

In  my  opinion  this  is  another  great  sounding  album  from  Die  Entwihung  and  if  you  are  a  fan  of  progressive  blackened  thrash  metal,  you  should  check  out  this  recording.  RECOMMENDED  TRACKS  INCLUDE  "Worldwide  Terror"  "Newborn"  and  "The  Darkest  Morning".  8  out  of  10.

Einherjer/Lifeblood/By Norse Music/2026 Full Length Review

Norway's  Einherjer  have  returned  with  a  new  recording  which  shows  the  music  going  for  a  viking  style  of  black  metal  and  this  is  a  review  of  their  2026  album  "Lifeblood"  which  will  be  released  in  June  by  By  Norse  Music.

Clear  viking  metal  style  vocals  start  off  the  album  while  also  adding  in  touches  of  power  metal  before  going  into  a  heavier  direction.  All  of  the  musical  instruments  on  the  recording  also  have  a  very  powerful  sound  to  them  along  with  the  riffs  also  adding  in a   decent  amount  of  melody  and  the  harsh  vocals  are  mostly  grim  sounding  black  metal  screams.

Throughout  the  album  you  can  also  hear  a  good  mixture  of  slow,  mid  paced  and  fast  parts  while  the  solos  and  leads  are  also  done  in  a  very  melodic  style.  Some  of  the  tracks  also  add  in  a  small  amount  of  clean  playing  along  with  some  of  the  music  also  showing  an  influence  of  traditional  metal  as  well  as  a  later  track  also  adding  in  a  brief  use  of  spoken  words  and  a  couple  of  the  songs  are  also  very  long  and  epic  in  length

On  this  recording  Einherjer  update  their  viking  style  of  black  metal  for  the  modern  era  as  well  as  adding  in  some  touches  of  power  and  traditional  metal.  The  production  sounds  very  professional  while  the  lyrics  are  written  in  a mixture  of  Norwegian  and  English  and  cover  Norse  Mythology.

In  my  opinion  this  is  another  great  sounding  album  form  Einherjer  and  if  you  are  a  fan  of  this  band,  you  should  check  out  this  recording.  RECOMMENDED  TRACKS  INCLUDE  "Bloodborn"  "Gone"  and  "The  Eternal  North".  8  out  of  10.

Flamekeeper/Self Titled/Invictus Productions/2024 Full Length Review

Flamekeeper  are  a  solo  project  from Sweden  that  has  had  music  reviewed  before  in  this  zine  and  on  this  recording  plays  an  epic  mixture  of  black  and  heavy  metal  and  this  is  a  review  of  his  self  released  2024  album  which  will  be  released  in  May  by  Invictus  Productions.

Epic  sounding  synths  start  off  the  album  along  with  some  melodic  guitar  solos  and  leads  a  few  seconds  later.  Most  of t he  clear  vocals  also  bring  in  more  of  a  traditional  metal  style  while  all  of  the  musical  instruments  on  the  recording  also  have  a  very  powerful  sound  to  them  and  when  the  music  speeds  up  a  small  amount  of  blast  beats  can  also b e  heard.

A  lot  of  the  album  is  also  very  heavily  rooted  in  the  80's  era  while  acoustic  guitars  and  clean  playing  can  also  be  heard  on  a  few  tracks.  At  times  the  music  also  mixes  in  the  raw  aggression  of  old  school  black  metal  along  with  some  back  up  shouts  also  being  utilized  briefly  and  most  of  the  tracks  stick  to  either  a  slow  or  mid  tempo  direction.

On  this  recording  Flamekeeper  moves  way  from t he  black  metal  elements  of  the  previous  release  and  focuses  more  on  an  epic  traditional  metal  style.  The  production  sounds  very  professional  while  the  lyrics  cover  resilience,  inner  strength  and  faith.

In  my  opinion  this  is  another  great  sounding  recording  from  Flamekeeper  and  if  you  are  a  fan  of  epic  blackened  heavy  metal,  you  should  check  out  this  album.  RECOMMENDED  TRACKS  INCLUDE  "New  Wild  World"  "Raise  The  Banner"  "Death,  You'll  Tremble  To  Take  me"  and  "The  Roads  Of  Rome".  8  out  of  10.

Malamorte/Hell For All/Rockshot Records/2019 Full Length Review

Malamorte  are  a  band  from  Italy  that  has  been  featured  before  in  this  zine  and  on  their  early  recordings  played  more  of  a  traditional  black  metal  style  but  have  evolved  into  more  of  a  mixture  of  heavy,  power,  thrash  and  black  metal  and  this  is  a  review  of  their  album  "Hell  For  All"  which  will  be  released  in  2019  by  Rockshot  Records.

A  very  epic  sounding  intro  starts  off  the  album  before  going  into  more  of  a  thrash  influenced  direction  while  the  vocals  are  done  in  clean  of  a  clean  traditional  metal  style  along  with  the  faster  sections  of  the  songs  also  bringing  in  a  great  amount  of  blast  beats  and  the  music  has  a  lot  of  80's  influences.

Elements  of  black  metal  can  also  be  heard  in  the  faster  sections  of  the  music  while  the  songs  also  bring  in  a  great  mixture  of  slow,  mid  paced  and  fast  parts  along  with  all  of  the  musical  instruments  have  a  very  powerful  sound  to them  as  well  as  the  solos  and  leads  being  done  in  a  very  melodic  style  and  the  music  also  adds  in  elements  of  power  metal  and  as  the  album  progresses  a  brief  use  of  acoustic  guitars  and  organs  can  also  be  heard.

On  his  recording  Malamorte  moves  away  from  the  traditional  style  of  black  metal  of  previous  releases  to  go  into  more  of  a  mixture  of  heavy,  power,  thrash  and  black  metal,  the  production  sounds  very  professional  while  the  lyrics  cover  Satanism,  Occultism,  Anti  Christianity  and  Mysticism  themes.

In  my  opinion  this  is  another  great  sounding  recording  from  Malamorte  and  while  some  of  the  more  hardcore  black  metal  fans  might  not  like  the  new  style,  I  can  see  fans  of   thrash,  power  and  heavy  metal  enjoying  the  album.  RECOMMENDED  TRACKS  INCLUDE  "Antichrist"  "Hell  For  All""Satan's  Slave"  and  "God  Is  Nothing".  8  out  of  10.
