Ritualistic soundscapes start off the demo along with a brief use of chants before going into a heavier direction. Dark sounding melodies are also added into some of the guitar riffing while the vocals are mostly grim sounding black metal screams and the music is very heavily rooted in the second wave tradition.
Synths are also utilized at times while the faster sections of the songs also add in a great amount of tremolo picking and blast beats which also gives the music more of a raw feeling. All of the musical instruments also have a very powerful sound to them along with the album also adding in a good mixture of slow, mid paced and fast parts.
When spoken words are utilized they also enhance the ritualistic nature of the recording as well as some touches of industrial also being utilized at times, whispered vocals and growls can also be heard briefly and one track also adds in a brief use of folk instruments and clean playing. The production sounds very dark and raw while the lyric's cover Satanism, Occultism, Anti Christianity, Blasphemy and Darkness with one song also being written in Bulgarian
In my opinion Glades Of Gloom where a very great sounding satanic black metal band and if you are a fan of this musical genre, you should check out this re-issue. RECOMMENDED TRACKS INCLUDE "Grim Seraphic Obsequies" "Siren From The Depths Of Pain" and "Beneath the Bleeding Skies Of Heaven". 8/5 out of 10.
