This is a review of another recording from Argentina's Alldrig which continues the atmospheric and depressive style of post black metal from t he previous release and the ep was self released in 2015 and called "Departure".
Keyboards along with some atmospheric soundscapes and after the intro the music goes into more of a heavier direction while also keeping the elements that where presented on the ep along with the drum beats being mostly programmed and clean vocals can also be heard at times.
Elements of post rock can be heard in some parts of the music while the vocals also bring in a great amount of cries and depressive black metal screams along with the solos and leads being done in a very melodic style and also bringing in elements of shoegaze as well as one track being an instrumental and all of the music sticks to a slower direction.
On this recording Alldrig remained true to the atmospheric and depressive style of post black metal that was established on the previous release, the production sounds very dark and raw while the lyrics cover depression, life experiences, misery and drug themes.
In my opinion this is another great sounding recording from Alldrig and if you are a fan of atmospheric and depressive post black metal, you should check out this ep. RECOMMENDED TRACKS INCLUDE "Vicious Circle" and "Monochrome". 8 out of 10.
